Just now I was browsing the OBC, and frankly I'm not sure who's side I'm on based on what I saw there. The impression I got was that a number of people were overreacting, but to what degree I don't know, and there was definitely merit in their accusations. Until I have found the conversation that started this mess and gotten a bit more context I shall withhold my opinion.
Unfortunately as the bloke has been banned my usual starting point, 'ask the person who started it for their side of the story without half a dozen other people butting in' is off the table.

1) What did Bangladesh do?
2) I don't know enough about chemistry to be sure, but that looks like an abomination to me.
