My opponent always places it’s SP Artillery around the point so that whenever I capture it, my unit gets destroyed or takes a lot of damage...
How do I counter this? He really doesn’t fight with anything else than SP Artillery, sometimes combined with Anti Air.

If he doesn’t have many anti air, then a strong air force is the best tool you have.
Once he adds significant AA to his SP Artillery groups you will have to rush at them with light tanks or maybe medium tanks. You need speed in order to close the distance and engage before he gets very many shots off. Cities of course will require mech or moto infantry to conquer in this lightning advance
but you get a -50% speed penalty in enemy terrain so this is pretty much suiciding if he's activeVorlonFCW wrote:

Agree. In this game, destroyers are one of those units weaker than artillery. And as I said before: 'if he's near one of your capital ships (e.g. battleship or cruiser) just expose him to some naval bombardment' ...Ryan04px2025 wrote:

Yes paratroopers take a while to produce anyways,with all the building requirements. It would be an endgame solution if you can really call it a solution

There are many ways to counter SP Artillery:
The best one is probably Railroadgun, specially for the range, but they're a bit slow & costly to produce.
However, normal Artillery, SP Artillery, Rocket Artilleries & sometimes even SP Rocket Artillery are good enough to counter them.
Apart from these, there is Air force, that can do the most damage in the least possible time, but, if the enemy stack has anti air units good enough to counter your Air Force, then it'll be a serious problem.
And, the last option you have is spamming lots of fast Armored Cars or Light Tanks or Mech infantry or Motorized infantry units at forced march to deal the highest possible damage.
