How to make a playthrough thread.

So, you want to make a playthrough about your current game? Well, you're in luck, because you have this COMPREHENSIVE GUIDE to making your very own playthrough thread as good as it can possibly be.

So, what are the different types of playthroughs you can do?

RP Playthroughs

So, we'll start my personal favourite (this is subjective of course), and that's RP playthrough threads. These are threads where you create a player and do the entire playthrough in their persona. Your best bet if you're doing this type of playthrough is to perhaps make it slightly humourous. It just adds character, and makes it more interesting. However, these types of playthroughs are generally more time consuming and require quite a bit of dedication, but they can be excellent if done well.

Bread and Butter Playthroughs

These playthroughs are just Call of War playthroughs, simple as. No extras or dilly-dallying. I do personally enjoy these (as I do all playthrough threads), however if too little attention is put into them they can seem bare or boring. But, these threads are great as you can really learn something from them especially if it is created by a more experienced player. But like I say, make sure it's not as bare as [insert eastern european city here]

Challenges/speedruns

This is the most outlandish of all. Trying to win ACAI with Luxembourg? Only producing Heavy Tanks? Having ChatGPT dictate your moves? Winning a map in ten days? This is your place. Arguably the most colourful part of playthrough culture, these are great fun.
