How to Strategic Bombing (100% ethical)

Hello everyone, my in-game name is Tolol_aja, and today I present to you, standard operation procedure on how to strategic bombing. covering any fields I can think off regarding strategic bombing. after the end of this thread, you will become master of Strategic Bomber.

I will walk you through the chapter one by one and my thought process along the way. feel free to criticize or adding up something I miss, and most importantly... feel free to ask a question or two now let's go...

CHAPTER I : Money War

First, let me introduce what is call of war really about, it's about players competing each other for territory and for cities and eventually, who has more cities than the others win the game ofc. in order to gain, maintain and build up those cities we need what the game called "resources" set of valuable things require to construct building, train army and upgrading units which will enhance our ability to conquer more cities. in short, who has more resources production than the others win the game. and now comes into mind, how should we halt our opponent resources production?

2 methods can be used, outproduce our opponents by building high-grade factory or... levelling their own factory to the ground.

CHAPTER II : Strategic Bombing

Definition : Strategic bombing is a systematic approach to aerial bombardment that aims to destroy an enemy's war-making capability by targeting vital infrastructure, factories, railways, and refineries. It can be carried out using strategic bombers, long- or medium-range missiles, or nuclear-armed fighter-bomber aircraft.

in monkey languages, strategic bombing is to destroy enemy capabilities to wage war by air.

in call of war, what was player war-making capability? Resources... and where did players obtain resources? province!

so, we can put simply like this :

[/list]Those are simplified chart of one's so called "war-making capabilities" in call of war. So, Strategic bombing is to hamper or obliterate either the morale or industry, or both.

CHAPTER III : The Terror Bombing

now let's dive into the real game that employing this strategy in greater extent.

Private, this is our target. South American has been invading Africa, a contested land in which war with them in inevitable. now let see why Strategic bombing an option :

1. Their homeland is practically untouched

war beyond their continent has its own advantage. factory and production back home are totally safe.

2. We can't bypass their navy (for obvious reason)

3. We still need fighting their army in Africa (fighting our way off into South America take time)

from where to strike?

1. Africa (They held most of Northern Africa, Airfield for our bomber is not possible)

2. North America (for the same reason)

3. Pacific Island (Our Military presence there is weak, risk of exposing our bomber to enemy navy)

4. Jamestown (Island is the southern Atlantic, our military presence there is quite strong. perfect spot for the bomber forces)

In the end, Jamestown is a Perfect location, our military presence in southern half of Africa were strong, and our navy is unchallenged there so we come down to a conclusion that Strategic bomber would be perfect weapon right now.

The TERROR BOMBING OF MARANHAO

now we are rolling, with the bomber ready to take off, the operation of strategic bomber of Maranhao is officially commence!

this is our first bombing run in Maranhao, viewed with Morale toggle on

and then maybe you asking, which one is the best, Direct attacking or Patrolling? I will say it this way.

if you're playing in the past, Direct Attacking is always the best option for Strategic Bomber. they do not need to expose themselves into hostile airspace for too long. one strike and headed back home, easy. moreover, patrolling only damage one province within the Patrolling Circle.

but I don't know if this is update or now. Strategic Bomber now can damage all of province within its Patrolling circle,

let's put it this way, you manage to cover 3 Province dot within the Patrolling circle, each time the patrolling run are done the damage will be distributed to all 3 province which means saving your trip back and forth from the Islands.

so yeah, in the present I would say patrolling is the best way to go, but always monitoring your bomber as enemy can counter attacking anytime.

Core Province of Maranhao, cities and rural are successfully hit, morale drop to 0% in all of these red provinces

Attacking Results :

5 out of 5 Core Cities are successfully hit, morale drops to 0%

18 out of 22 Rural Provinces successfully hit, morale drops to 0%. any standing building (Local Factory, recruitment center) are destroyed too

our 19 Bomber damage stat to Structure and to Morale.

as a result of our attack.

Morale drops to zero, our enemy core province is likely to revolt to a neighboring country, even if they're at the same coalition.

Maranhao just lost

18 out of 22 of his Rural provinces revolted to East Amazon (his fellow Coalition member)

1 out of 5 of his core cities revolted to East Amazon
