I just started playing Korea in 100 player war, any tips?

Just started playing Korea, any tips? It seems that Japan is trying to attack me so I sent most of my troops south.

Naval bombers will be your friend in an early confrontation with Japan. You can use them to quickly scout the sea and sink anything coming across. They research quickly and are even fairly cheap.

Yea already made Naval bombers and they are SUPER useful. Japan tried shoving me with loads of troops by sea and Naval Bombers helped destroy them. Any tips on how to attack them?

Do you feel naval bombers are stupidly overpowered, even against cruisers now? Suppose its balanced by the fact that ints exists, but when I use cruisers enemy develops naval bombers, makes 2, which is enough to kill my cruiser (usually). I suggest OP make ints as well, you never know if Japan has the brain cells to figure out arial warfar ^^

Using naval bombers against cruisers is something you should only do if you're desperate.

Bytro is desperate to make battleships relevant in CoW, even though they were largely obsolete by the time WWII was fought. Mainly only being used for coastal bombardment. The more they increase the cost of cruisers and make battleships more effective, the more they increase the value of naval bombers as an unintended result. Just my opinion. I love naval bombers. They're the perfect pack-hunter for coastal defense. You can spread them out or search a large area very quickly, when you find something, call them all back to group them and send them back after whatever you found.

I agree Pan Asian has interceptors that are very effective and the perfect counter to naval bombers. They can be just as effective as a scout (other than not being able to see subs).

Hmm, the battleship obsession must be the reason. I do agree they are used desperately, but it is still semi-effective, and very annoying, considering the whole point of cruisers is to provide AA defense. And I agree, naval bombers are a good unit, but they shouldn't be this good against dedicated AA platforms. I would be fine but that's how the game advertises them.

Obsolescent, and on their way out for sure, but I’m not 100% if I would say largely though. On top is coastal bombardment they were very useful in night attacks, which planes could not do at the time. Plus you have to have something to protect carriers from enemy carriers, and sometimes cruisers and destroyers just did not cut it. Keep in mind that most of the time ships were not sunk solely by carriers, and needed other ships to finish the job. You could argue that faster smaller ships were better, but with other big battleships with large amounts of armor and range, you would need the same thing to do the job. My point? Obsolescent and on their way out, but not fully obsolete yet.
