I Play For FUN, Not K/D
There have been all these people that have been picking on me and putting me down because of my 3.6 K/D ratio against human players. That’s actually not even that bad of a ratio considering I’m not hyperactive, and there’s lots of noobs with ratios under 1. But the main issue here is that I play this game for FUN. Which means I’m not going to throw a tantrum over losing a single unit or pull units back from the frontlines at night to prevent them from getting killed while I’m asleep. I’ve won 28 of 76 games I’ve joined (3 of them being solo W’s) and I consider myself to be a fairly good player. It’s just that the #1 reason I play this game is to have fun, and when you’ve got people nagging about your K/D every five minutes doesn’t make it fun.

I’m active to the end in almost every game I join (except for when theres a fucking golder obvs) and I think I perform quite well against most human players. There was even this level 160 guy I was up against and I took him out solo in 2 days!

The sentiment in the actual title to this thread is one I actually wholeheartedly agree with. 1) Because yes, this is a game, and 2) it's C/L that usually wins the game, not K/D (although a high ratio for the former and a low one for the latter usually comes coupled with very inefficient playing styles).
Speaking as someone with a K/D of 0.94.

When you put "F*CK CROATIA" as your signature in big, bold letters, along with some pro-Milošević campaign slogans, don't expect people to take you seriously. Just because I am of Serbian heritage doesn't mean I need to support Serbian imperialism, genocide, ethnic cleansing, etcetra etcetra. Maybe if you look into some (unbiased) accounts of what happened in the former Yugoslavia, you'd think differently on this subject.

Like all nationalist thugs, Milosevic did more harm to the Serbian nation than any foreigner. That's how these idiots operate. They weaponize nationalism to subjugate their own people first and foremost. They only care about rising to power, and eventually when it all goes to poop emoji, they only care about their own survival.

Same could be said with our good brothers in Iraq. The rat named Saddam was a paranoid Stalinist maniac that suppressed and murdered his people, left them in poverty, started a major decade long attritional war over oil (ironic considering what would come in the future) then decided to provoke the US and invade another state for oil. Iraq already had plenty of it, and most of the profits went to elites rather than the people. When the US invaded, a good portion of Iraqis were actually hopeful of change from a paranoid dictatorship. They forgot that it was America who invaded them..
