No not an essay or whatever, I just wanted to discuss it, see i think Nazi Propaganda soesnt exist in the 21st century and its made up by American propaganda to make themselves look even better. Its easily spotted if you compare America, British and German WWII shows.

i use infrastructures on mountainous provinces, they are really useful, but for the most part they are too costly

Well since Nazi Germany went down and Goebbels died in 1945, I think it is MOSTLY safe to say that Nazi propaganda indeed doesn't exist in the 21st century. It's main axioma: "The bigger the lie you tell, the easier it is believed" was sure learnt well though; you don't need look further than a certain inhabitant of a certain house of a certain color in a certain capital of a certain superpower.GrandEmpire wrote:

i couldnt hold back my laugh, but you are completely right... and its a bit sad really. Its very unfair, for example when you look at the scale of corruption at the Nuremberg Trials, and how no allied powers were charged with war crimes despite commiting horrific ones...
And i agree, i mean i just explode when someone suggests that Nazi Germany which has gone for 76 years has propaganda still running.
And everyone thinks of the Blitz and "evil" German bombs... then you look deeper and see that the Luftwaffe was at first under strict orders not to hit civiliian's target and a few pilots were EXECUTED for doing so, and the british hit civilians first, and then you look even deeper and you see Dresden... Then you suddenly realise the biggest thing wasnt even hidden, but at the front... Nagasaki and Hiroshima
So the bombs that killed 200,000+ are the "good guy liberators" and the bombs that hit peral harbour in retaliation of tariffs and embargos and the death of thousands are "evil"...

It's a bit undertaught, the british bombing campaign. In 2 years the brits dropped triple the bombs ON JUST THE RUHR VALLEY than the Germans did on Britain in the entire war.
And lets not talk about Dresden or Operation Chastise (Dambusters).
Plus, all of the Japanese scientists (performing experiments on live people) were pardoned in exchange for giving the US all of their research.

I agree that in war time many actions are taken that turn out to be mistakes and deals with monsters are made when there is a bigger enemy to fear but it’s no excuse to sweep any distasteful thing you did under the rug.whowh wrote:

What is even more interesting is that no matter what Britain says about its bombing it will not reflect well. People (the US mainly from my view) see it as "poor little britain being bombed into oblivion by the German hordes" when it was really the other way round.
A metaphor that I use to explain it is that the war is almost an image of 2 people fighting. Standardly, we view it close up which shows one person (Germany) with its hand on the other's (Britain) face. If you zoom out though, you would see that Britain is squeezing Germany's crotch.

Although they both bombed cities ironically it all started with the Luftwaffe accidentally bombing London thinking in the dark that it was their target. Then in retaliation the allies bombed Berlin and after that Germany retaliated by starting their Moral bombing campaign and so on. So the Moral of the story is that no amount of planing, preparation, or technology can eliminate the inherent chaos of a combat situation.whowh wrote:

While some say that was a deliberate action by Churchill to keep the bombers away from the RAF airfields... which were much more important from a military viewpoint. The RAF was down on the ground at the time... the only reason they weren't obliterated was because the Luftwaffe changed targets to London, which they did only because there were a few bombs on the outskirts of Berlin...

It's all speculation.
A different theory says the germans shifted to city bombing because airfields were fiercely defended and a smaller target.

Not much of a speculation or debate in my opinion.
War is hell. World War Two was a total war which means civilian causalities were inevitable. Both sides are guilty of bombing innocent and non-combatants.
No point in placing blame on either side. Best thing we can do is learn from history and do better.

Yes, im not taking a side, im pointing out the disgusting fact that the Allies have never held responsiblity...
guess who took the USA to the moon? Wherner von Braun killed 33,000 jews, Americans made him a celebrity and then used him to go to the moon and today they still say the acievment was made by an american and not a nazi monster they forgave and paid...
Truth is, war IS hell. Both sides will be guilty of crimes and atrocities. Never is there a situation where its "good guys" vs "bad guys". NEVER. But in the end the world only cares about the "Justice of the Conquerors". And, sadly, that is no justice at all.
The world needs to see the truth, not just on WWII, every piece of history ever. It is horrific to be unable to trust the world.
What we can do, is Remember.
Remember the horrific extermination of innocent Jews...
Remember the siege of Leningrad...
Remember Pearl Harbour...
Remember the Hunger Marches...
BUT ALSO REMEMBER
Remember the savage rape of German women by the Red Army...
Remember the deals with monsters...
Remember the corruption of the Neuremberg Trials...
Remember Dresden...
Remember the collecting of dead Japanese heads by US marines...
Remember Hiroshima and remember Nagasaki...
And remember who started it all with World War I, and who made Japan leave its isolation policy...

You used my words I’m flattered but you forgot about American imprisonment of their “Japanese” citizens without reasonable compensation afterwards destroying many businesses and lives. Also Japan was a democracy until a military coup so I wouldn’t blame the US pressuring Japan to open up even though it was wrong for them to impress their will on a sovereign nation its not the core cause of Imperial Japan because if it wasn’t them someone else would have done it.GrandEmpire wrote:

I suppose so, and yes i did forget the wrognful improsonment.
However USA forced japan to leave isolation so it could plunder it and DID start Imperial Japan essentially

It was wrong for the US to impress its will on to a sovereign nation through the threat of military force but I don’t think that that event can be blamed for Imperial Japan because I doubt Japan would be able to stay Isolated for 9 more decades especially with the military advancements made in the 20th century. I mean this would be a world with Samurai coexisting with heavy tanks, battleships, long range aircraft and possibly the atom bomb. I don’t see how Japan could last that long without someone going along and either force them to open up or just invade them. To make one more point this universe would have National China with a stronger military then Japan since they would be equipped with rifles and even some tanks.GrandEmpire wrote:
