I see a lot of people choose a country from oceania and try to invade small ıslands why ?
for example ıf u are in south america and think to attack africa u can invade small ısland between continents but why oceanian countries try for 20-30 ıslands these ıslands havent any resource even
As everywhere there may be many reasons ..
Some could just make it so that they have something to do or that the map looks more pleasing .. 
Another and more important reason can be, for example, to set up relay points for planes to enable a complete and very fast PPT (Pacific-Plane-Transit 
) with much fewer (and stationary) aircraft carriers .. 
In addition, there are still victory points on some small islands .. 
And they would be a perfect opportunity for an airborne landing and occupation.Restrisiko wrote:
