K/D ratios vs PT/PL ratio

I personally think that the Province Taken/Province LOst ratio is more important than the Kill/Death ratio. It's because it actually shows how good you are at winning games, because K/D doesn't take into account things such as sacrificial units and the like. What do you think?

Win Ratio is probably the most important. I’ve technically won an extra game or two but was burned out and didn’t check the game, went inactive the same day I won…

Oof is all I can say to that unnoble situation.

I don't agree; this is about play style. When you are a more static type of player, you gradually push back the enemy and you don't lose many provinces. When you're dynamic, and often grab provinces even if you know you're going to lose them again, your ratio will be lower. I wouldn't say the former type of player is somehow "better" than the latter; in fact I prefer the mobile style of battle myself and I would dare wager that it is more successful in the long run.

Fair enough. I'm more like the second player, which is what leaves me with such an awful ratio.

It really depends on the player's play style. I have a higher k/d than province capture/lost ratio.(sorry for my arrogance)

I agree that both stats help define the type of player, and can be useful information to know about your opponent.
