Karlesco Karlo and his Spain

Greetings everyone, I Karl von Krass, have joined an HWW as Spain.

I am now 'Karlesco Karlo' the leader of Spain, and if anyone has seen the Thread of Doom, you know I am Doomed. Without further ado.

Day 1: I join as Spain in HWW. The map is quite active with Britain, France, Germany and Italy RPing.

I was immediately invited by USSR and Brazil in the Comintern alliance, but I rejected it (where's the fun in alliances?)

I have set upon Soloing the map.

The Situation: There are 2 main alliances:- Germany-France-Britain coalition and Italy-Sweden coalition. Both are the only active coalitions that I see.

Germany has 2kdr and is around lvl 140, France has 0.9kdr and is lvl 90, Britain is lvl 55 0.5kdr.

Seeing as I have no allies, I have chosen to try to invade as many nations as possible, and have chosen 'Reconquista' that is, the naval invasion of the Atlantic nations, to reconstitute the Spanish speaking nations.

But for this, I must start with my neighbour Portugal.

I slept and attacked Paris in melee, losing more troops in Paris alone (5 units) than I had in the entire war till then (1 unit)

Hopefully you can quickly spam out some units to make up for it… making a forcé of militia when your low on units is always a good idea, to temporarily beef up lines. Keep artillery behind it!

yee, my only peeve is that I could've ended the war with 1 unit loss, but now I have lost 5 units in the final battle

Don’t worry I’ve lost more units to ai with a bigger advantage and still won the game lol. You’ll make it.

Guys here is my progress today.

I sank the entirety of the British and French navies.

But since Britain and Germany and USA attacked all at once, my progress had been slow.

I am the largest single nation and larger than the china, india and Tibet coalition.

I am gonna follow Roko and spam tacs then upgrade it to elite by the time I engage the enemy coalition.

I am assembling a fleet to occupy Britain.

My next move would be to occupy Gran Colombia and Peru then move onwards to capture Argentina.

It has been a long fight trying to occupy Gran Colombia.

I am also preparing a fleet to occupy the Dutch east indies, which I believe I can wrestle from China after they attack.

I may also land on the land of flowers and start the Spanish Empire.

Guys I joined a coalition.

Also I am mentally retarded. China attacked with full force of his navy and landed 40 units in Ethiopia. Although I sank 10 units already, he managed to land troops at the horn.

I didn't have air coverage there and he landed overnight.

I am constructing many unit productions and spamming units in Africa, while my air units pour into Egypt. This is a big event and can mean the loss of support in Africa. Military intelligence has failed me once again!

I don't intend to stock with my coalition. I am 1000 points big, I already am 3x larger than both my teammates combined.

I cracked the Chinese, they are currently retreating... I have killed 40 units total of their's for the cost of 1
