Do you mean the little scorch marks when there was heavy artillery bombardement and such? They should actually be there. If not then it is rather a bug. Will ask our QA to check if they are still there.

Kinda wish the battle craters were back...
Look, I understand that it probably reduces lag and makes the map look cleaner, but I always use to like the battle craters on the map. It just added a layer of realism, like you could tell the battles were actually happening and how hard fought they were. I wish they were back, and I can't be the only one.

Don't they only exist when arties or battleships are used for bombardment?

I just checked and I can't see them either. I have a huge war going on and my opponent spams arties but there are no craters.

They only happen with ranged bombardment, yes.
Ok I will let our QA know to have a look at it.

Same for me, bombarded a 7 unit enemy squad with my battleship for 4-6 hours, no scorch marks!
