Let's Follow Admiral Yasir's journey on his rampage in Asia!

Chapter 1 : No Man's Land

After completing his duty in China as a Battlecruiser commander, Burmese Navy assigned him South where he will make Glorious Conquest satisfied upper ranks lust to colonize resource rich country in Southeast Asia.

he took up command and realize something were wrong, his forces were equipped with old battleship and a mix of cruiser and plenty of modern destroyer. he need something better.

in order to do that he did complete overhaul of entire Burmese navy vessels and doctrine, old battleship were scrapped some of them were decent enough ended up being converted as a Aircraft Carrier

he Build a naval aviation (still new in that time) and ready to do his job

he will keep some of the cruisers around, his forces we consist of 3 Aircraft Carrier Zuikaku, Shokaku and Taiho with 5 Naval Bomber & 4 Interceptor aboard

5 Cruisers, 1 Destoyer and later joined by single brand new Submarine.

The plan is to conduct raid against foreign shipping and navies also establish naval and air dominance if possible, once achieved the army will do the rest. navy and army are used to fight side by side.

Newly captured bangkok (capital of siam) will be his primary naval base in the area

The main body are 3 Aircraft Carriers and 1 destroyer as well as 9 strike plane aboard as main power

second layer are 5 Cruiser operate further act as a radar and coastal bombardment

outer layer will filled with submarines (operating 360 degree away from carrier) and military sabotage spy, increase fleet visibility

all were works within 1st Mobile Force under the command of Admiral Yasir.

once the cruiser enter strait of Malacca he got "strange report" from second layer, "Aircraft factory are spotted in city of Medan but no enemy unit sighted". this concern him a bit, where all of them? and wheres the naval bomber? he worried that the bomber will strike the convoy with fighters weren't yet present.

he quickly ordered the cruiser to bombard the Aircraft factory in order to halt any ongoing production

his worries will prove wrong and things will get even stranger

once he sail at the end of Malacca strait he order an 180°front scout to be found absolutely nothing, an empty sea and land, where is the airstrike? and where is everybody? no sign of living. despite all of question popping out of his head he continue to sail and gaining his objective, order the army to disembark to a no man's land

although this make his job easier.

later he found Borneo are also in the same case as Sumatra, he do all of this just to conquer an empty land? whatever it is the army successfully secure desperately needed oil field in Bandung and Pontianak.

Later he receive news that war in china are won by South China and Communist China (Burma's allies) against Nat. China and Sichuan. there's little time to celebrate as he approaching his new target, Phillippines. Unlike previous both this nation were fully militarized and already conquering an overseas Island.

CHAPTER 2 : GHOST FLEET (ignore the pool until you are permitted to vote)

Aboard Zuikaku, 1st mobile force's flagship the Admiral Supervising his crew, pilots manned their aircraft with the flight deck were very dense and cramped.

Planes were taking off, one by one. in just 15 minutes large portion of mobile force's strike planes already airborne determined to repel the Philippines Invasion.

1 hour earlier, Admiral Yasir receive report from Second Layer's reconnaissance plane

"large enemy invasion convoy sighted, may contain warship"

the Philippines were previously controlled Kudat (Borneo Most northern province) but fierce Brunei counterattack drive them of out of Borneo, Intelligence report say that Philippines attempt to recapture Kudat were possible and thus Admiral Yasir will took this as a chance to strike unsuspecting Philippines.

the convoy are out of his strike plane range therefore he decided to close the distances and sail north

The army were doing well in Borneo and Java. Previously, Burma relied on import to fed it's military and industries

After Capture of oil field in Bandung & Pontianak rate of oil imports were declined gradually, successfully achieve one of Operation objective, Resources.

turns out the vessels sighted by recon plane were just 3 Infantry and 1 AA without any air cover or naval support

single strike by 9 Planes from the Mobile fleet was enough to sent them down.

another report was receive by Zuikaku but this time is from the army.

"large Borneo vessels sighted, west of Soerabaja"

Admiral Yasir now had his force divided, he just start war with Philippines but shortly after the Borneo coming out of nowhere. what the hell is this?

Forum attachment

but this is what the Admiral had been searching on for day, this is the Borneo Army that left their homeland unguarded

upon learning about this report he immediately sent Cruiser docking in Bangkok to meet this ghost fleet.

Forum attachment

after had his question answered he focusing his attention north were he will bring capitulation to Philippines and liberate the OIL people from ruthless government of Philippines

Intel report that Philippines Fighters were at readiness state, launching recon would be risky

any losses are not tolerated since it was very difficult to replace Aircraft in hostile waters.

Yasir then ordered to bombard the airstrip, deny their use to enemy and soften up the defenses, making the army job easier.

Philippines sent a message to Burmese HQ in Bangkok before forwarded to Burmese armed forces HQ in Rangoon

Burmese replies was simple, plain and quite honest

Radar from the Cruiser detected enemy aircraft northwest approaching just to found they have nowhere to land

forced to crash landing to their former airstrip, heavily damaging several fighters

Now you are the Commander of 1st Mobile Force and you need to make decision

Situation is following : enemy air force had been neutralized and now you need to search for Philippines vessels and sunk them in order to secure naval supremacy, intel report that enemy fleet located between palau and philippines southern island.

what you will do?

now permitted to vote (do not open spoiler before voting)

SpoilerAdmiral Yasir decided to sent the figters to search the Philippines while he kept his naval bombers at ready.

this prove to be clever decision, destroyers in the fleet is enough to locate the sub before its going too close

Forum attachment

neither 2 of the battleship will survive to see another day, Admiral Yasir order the fleet to change course out of harms way

Forum attachment

The Mobile Force successfully secure naval supremacy in the area, Cruisers will do the rest while the army wait to claim these Victory.

3. Send all planes on recon and recall once target located.

Less time searching.
