Some alliances are still beatable 1v5, unless they gold heavily. If you can make some people on map stop them for a while you perhaps can get solo win still, although it's harder than regular gameplay

I've been playing a world map (100pl) for 12 days, doing great, but essentially realizing the dominance of an Alliance (not coalition) of 6 players.
Actually fun to watch! All 6 sprung out of Africa, taking over South America, Europe and heading east on Asia, like a tidal wave... and I'm waiting on the end of that... ha ha
Now, wheres the joy for me in this?? I like to play strategic moves and make small tactical interventions, but in vain when up against a fifth column!!
In my optics, they ruined the gameplay and I just wasted 12 days on a masquerade!! c"-)

There was another coalition, 5 players from same alliance, but they did nothing. Stayed safe in the US, I guess?!.
I just never thougt of looking on players Alliances, maybe because I'm not in one?! 
I will not use time on checking it, relying on my skills, but never will I have the patience for masquerade!!!
