ALL HAIL @Talvisota!
NOBLE COMRADE!
URRRAAAA
Hello and welcome to my playthrough, I doubt anyone is interested as this is not a speedrun, but I did get the idea from @SamPGS_17, and I am starting from Day 2 so here goes.
As of now I am unable to upload so that is very annoying too.
Day 1:
Picked the Northern States of America as my starting country.
Got straight to the point of researching infantry and armoured cars, then quickly moving to light tanks and submarines, when this was done I set the tactical bomber to research while I was sleeping that night. In the morning, I began work on battleships too.
Built Tank plants in New York and Philadelphia, a Naval Base in Boston, and Barracks in Pittsburg. Controversial, but I have blueprints for motorised inf, light tanks, so my production of them needs to be high for the mid-game.
Also straight away I checked the levels of Southern USA and Canada, I felt bad because they were both level 1 but I might not be trying to speedrun, but I am trying to finish as soon as possible. So I organised the army to take a slow attack to minimise casualties, taking rural territory, garrisoning it, and then surrounding cities before closing in with combined unit strength. It also turned out on the way to Chattanooga that the player had a medium tank and 2 infantry, which my measly LT and 1 inf weren't a match for, so I ordered them to stop on the roads. I assume a similar thing happened at Asheville because I lost 4 troops fighting there.
Diplomacy-wise, I joined a coalition with UK and Libya, levels 50 and 40 respectively, the UK decided to maximise production and construction as much as he could, so spent all his resources and came begging for cash, while Libya invaded Tunisia and Greece, well partway through that Turkey decided to send all his forces to Tripoli (in the form of separate convoys) and Egypt (level 1) declared war. Turns out Libya is really good because they finished off Tunisia, and repelled the Turks with just 2 armoured cars (yep, 2 armoured cars took out 22 convoys).
Day 2:
Began Battleship research, and then started on subs, Libya has taken up to Athens in Greece and is landing on all Izmir and Istanbul in Turkey, although since Turkey has nothing left, I've told him to just rush as many cities as he can. Uk seized Benelux and Ireland, and I made allies with an old friend who turned out to be on the same game, he was in coalition with Communist Russia and Poland who were both very good, but then he got invaded by Finland after they sunk his troops heading for the Baltic since I don't want him dead yet, I advice Communist Russia and Poland to strike at Finland while his forces are pre-occupied - Sweden uses a strat of "Wall of Steel" I hate it - Heavy Tanks, Mechanised Infantry and Tactical Bombers, but it works quite well (even though none of those units are available yet), so he has held off Finland until about 11:00 BSt when Stockholm and Uppsala fell.
For me I've reached down to Savanah in South USA, still stuck at Chattanooga though, and encircling Charlotte, I think once my stacks of 5 LTs arrive then I'll speed up the advance. Meanwhile saying Canada was a new player was an understatement, it's their first game, and they haven't even bothered to do the tutorial (Karelia has this 1 province in Canada, London if you must know the name), So I might jump the gun and send my six-stack of infantry into Canada before the AI takes over.
Industrial complexes are being built in all cities except Washington, which is an airbase, I am also going to need more oil it seems, which is odd because most of the time the USA lacks metal.

Noble one.
Help!!
Yugoslavia declared war on me at the most inconvenient time.
I know it's an AI, and I could probably beat him, but as I mentioned, my fighting force has been decimated. I think the best thing to do would be to retreat my troops to Istanbul and withdraw from Greece, Albania and Bulgaria completely. From there I can rebuild, because I can definitely win a war against Yugoslavia.
Btw thanks Zhukov and Carking
If you have ranged units your best bet is to just stay and slowly bombard them into oblivion. Ai advances very slowly and sometimes lets arty shoot them.Talvisota wrote:

Yes, I have three battleships stationed in the Balkans that are ready to strike. I decided the best thing to do with my forces was to retreat them to Istanbul into a large stack, which can repel the Slavic forces and win back my land. All my forces that had conquered Saudi Arabia are now in Istanbul. Hopefully it works, but I think I can handle an AI Comintern as an Axis Nation.
In other news, Egypt has been defeated and so has Saudi Arabia and the Crimea.
So, on the whole the game is going well. If I can win against Yugoslavia, then I will be UNSTOPPABLE, mwahahahahaha.
You are already unstoppable, noble one!
Day 9:
South USA has been defeated entirely, and I am moving my units to Canada, specifically around the Hamilton and London Provinces, since there is a supply drop in London, but 7 inf and 3 LTs will remain in Miami to invade Cuba, I am at approaching shortage of manpower so need to be sparing with unit production until some recruiting offices are buildable.
Talvi and are continuing to flirt around with ditching UK, in his words "The UK has a strong army on paper, but I don't think he is invested in the game" and he has lost all of Scotland, and traded Libya Dublin for only 5K oil! seemingly deciding the best course of action is to group all his units into Birmingham.
5k oil for a city is crazy.
Also, I feel like Call of War players are more competent than most military tacticians.
Of course they are, they can conquer all of Europe in 10 days!Talvisota wrote:

Yes, we are indeed gods among, uh... AIs.
Quick update:
I massively overestimated Yugoslavia's fighting force. They don't have any stacks, and haven't researched anything past level one. I have about 25 units who are trying to Blitzkrieg their land, and I can estimate that we will have retaken most of Bulgaria by the end of the day.
In Greece, they have captured Athens, but their aforementioned inadequate fighting force won't be too difficult to overrun there.
Well that was anti-climacticβ¦
Yup. Don't want to call it too early though. I did find some rocket artillery in Pozaverac, but I defeated it
Day 10-12:
Germany has been expanding massively, almost beating the UK at home (although now they have been almost kicked off of the British Isles), Talvi continues to valiantly fight the ever-growing wave of Balkan nations attacking him, and Germany is taking on Finland in Sweden, yet the UKs battleships are making ti hard for him, I may ask the UK to call off battleship attacks in german occupied Sweden however. I finally have a 10-stack of tactical bombers and am moving in on Canada in 2 hours, (when my troops arrive), Cuba also declared war, so my stack of AC and LTs is dealing with that.
Soon we will reach Iceland, then Morocco and then I will get into Europe (ideally before Talvi beats me to Spain and West Africa).
*Applauds my valiance*
Yes yes, thank you.
Also, I probably won't beat you to Spain as France has got pretty much all of Northern Spain already. We might have to take him on together.
So, Zak said that he wanted me to take over the thread now as he has other commitments, but he will nevertheless be involved in the thread.
America has done well in Cuba, having taken the capital, and is looking pretty unstoppable, with a stack of ten ready to take on the rest of the island. He has also moved troops into Canada, who is looking quite defeatable. His soldiers are simply awaiting the order to attack.
Britain has made a near miraculous recovery against Germany, forcing most of the German forces of the Isles. However, he has lost almost all of his foreign territories apart from Brussels and most of Ireland (he gave Dublin to me if you remember). That said, he has made gains in Finland-Occupied Sweden and Germany-occupied Denmark.
Now, onto yours truly.
I now have full control of the Middle East and North-Eastern Africa, and my offensive in the Balkans is going quite well. The borders there are changing faster than axl rose can throw a temper tantrum onstage. Despite losing most of my Greek territory and all of my Albanian territory, I'm not too bothered as I've managed to keep Salonika and Albania is of little strategic importance. I've made my way to northern Romania (they declared war on me too).
In Yugoslavia, I was surprised to see that there was a stack of 10 in Belgrade, considering their far-from-adequate offensive force, which is why I was even more surprised to see that there was a HUGE stack in Sarajevo with a grand total of.......... zero troops.
With the help of my navy, Sarajevo and Dubrovnik have been liberated, while Split is well within my grasp.
If we turn our eyes to the East, we can see that the Caucasus have also declared war on me. Their fighting force consists mainly of militia, but because they had very large stacks, I did lose a couple of units. Nothing a bit of Medium Tank action can't fix tho (looking at you, Carking). I had also have my navy bombarding their coastal provinces. They did take one Turkish province on the border that isn't too significant and will be back under my control soon. They also took some of the Crimea (including Sevastopol) but their single, solitary AA gun they were using to conquer the Crimea was no match for my level 1 militia (lol).
That's all from me for now. Another update tomorrow.
Very nice.
