My game as Yugoslavia

To prepare for my game as Yugoslavia in the upcoming World War 2 RP I finally found a 1939 World War (Or whatever it's called) and I will start from day 1 to the end of the nation.

At the start of the game, I started building industries in my oil and steel provinces seeing that I was low on oil and steel.

After I had done the basics, by researching tanks and artillery, I made the biggest mistake I did. I took a break.

The reason this is a mistake is because something happened after I came back to Italy surprised attacked me. As you can see I started placing troops on the border. (I don't know if my troops will arrive on time or not)

Any suggestions on how I can repel Italy's attack?

I also started to start negotiations with Italy and did the most bravest thing ever.

I haven't been able to produce anything btw due to me building a bunch of industries

You are Comintern, so just PRODUCE, PRODUCE, PRODUCE. Use Battleships too and bombard the coastline, taking out all their major production point. Strategic Bombers on all their cities too. If you get the upper hand on production, you win.

Day 2: I built some tank barracks and took half of Albania. It turns out that Italy was getting attacked from France so I have a chance of winning, the reason is that I asked for help and I think he answered the call.

Day 3: I started pushing into Italy's core provinces and started to naval land. I think I won the war because of France.

Day 3: I saw some Egyptian troops stuck at my place and I messaged Egypt a right of way for right of way so he could get his troops off of my borders without causing a war and I am still waiting on a response. I continued my advance towards Italy and France went inactive. I applied for the UK's coalition since France was part of it. But first, I needed to message the UK about that so that's what I did. Oh, by the way here are my resources:

Your steel and oil productions seem good. You can start med. tanks if not started already. Your army is lacking behind a bit though.
