You have ten cities. Nine of them are non-core, which means they operate at 25% capacity, maximum. With only one core city, stuck between 3 great powers, is there any hope of winning? Any ideas how? Maybe colonies should be able to seceed?

colonies should help, taking Australia is a good thing, getting protection of your mainland also very good.

Netherlands still has a lot of potential although with this drastically reduced economy

NEVER try to take Australia at all, rather defend when they attack, in early game. Karl, just like you told me to invade Japan as Mongolia, and you won instead.
