Never mind

Couldn't work out how to delete this thread, if that's even possible.

Suits me. I really only put it out there as proof I actually wrote it down. If you choose not to try working it out that's fine with me, and if you do I can sit back and be entertained by seeing how far off the mark what you finish with is. Either way I win.

What's Dungeon and Dragons to be exact?
A tabletop roleplaying game with a standard pseudomediaeval fantasy setting.
Ohhh, it's a game.

I thought it was a movie name for a moment.

I realized the power I held, Power! The power to rule! To make the world grovel at my feet!
We will begin with a reign of terror. A few murders here and there, murders of great men, murders of little men, just to show we make no distinction.

There actually are at least two Dungeons and Dragons movies. I haven't seen either, but I know that one is apparently terrible and one is OK.

Sounds like a good game! Maybe I should try that one day.

Depends how you feel about wading through huge piles of complicated rules, and it's not even the worst RPG in that respect.

Mind you I have semi-successfully run a game of it despite not knowing half of the rules, so I think a lot of them are the sort that can be quietly ignored unless you want to turn your game night into a bureaucracy.

I looked up what's Dungeon & Dragon, and from the looks of it... it's complicated....

Yeah it's best played with a group of very patient people who are more familiar with the rules than you and don't mind you stopping the game every round to ask if you're allowed to do a certain thing.
