Will there be a single player mode for call of war soon?

Unlikely, But you can create a private password protected game and play against AI, or some friends.
Of course with plain AI a game will need 6 players to be ranked and contribute to your stats and give rewards. You could enable elite AI which will make the game ranked with just yourself.

But yes, with just AI, it could get a little boring.
