PL game is working fine for me, Mark.
Perhaps it is an invitational this time.
Hello,
I do think that this game needs a bit of a push by doing some Events & Challenges, too many veteran players going/gone inactive and all new players cant find a good round to play beside the usual rounds where half the player goes inactive within 4 days.
And regarding the pl rounds, i do know that Wild went missing but who is the replacement to organize it? i think that the pl should be given top priority as it is currently the last playground to face active and experienced players, and it needs more advertisement in the forums and game mods and operator should be investing more in the pl; as i do understand hardly some1 can check for gold use in the current rounds and the games are not terminated after 1 month as they should be but they keep going. The current pl mods are doing their best to make the pl happen but they need more support, the pl rounds signup used to be done starting the 15 of the month, know for example its day 27 and no sign up yet for April round if any, and of course if the sign up page is up we cant have enough players to join within 3 days of signup's.
This is a good game but the normal games alone are not enough especially with many of the experienced players went inactive, and maybe new events and an organised pl can encourage people to get back and to satisfy the current players.

Well if u think this pl is fun, u should have missed how the pl used to be, now half the map in the pl is still empty we cant even have 22 players!
And concerning the invitation , the pl is not an invitation unless some1 broke the rules many times then he will suspended i guess
Actually Mark, I played a PL game last Fall. It was quite fun.
I would play more of them but my work schedule often has me beyond the edge of the internet each month. I don't think it is fair to the other players if I have to go inactive for a week in the middle of a game. Even if I still have a playable position after that, any allies are screwed by that.
I don't think it is "invitation only". I only said that to poke at you. I do think that some of the PL players will likely set up some "invitation only" games among folks who play well together. If I am lucky, I might get invited. Then again, if I am not, I can always set up one myself.
Sadly, I won't be available for any April game. It would be fun to face you across the table again.
May is not looking good either but perhaps June will work. That schedule is still open at the moment.
Good luck in the April game, if one gets started.
If I were you, I would go to the PL sub-forum and start a sign up thread. Organizing a game and getting things set up would likely be appreciated by the moderator(s). The only thing that only they can do is ensure no one is using Gold. If you set everything else up for them, it would make it more likely a game would be started. At least, that is how I would do it.
Hope to see you in a PL game sometime down the road.
Well i contacted some major mods and game operators about that but they didnt answer me yet, gl with ur internet and work
I've started to like the frontline pioneer games just because almost everyone is active.
report in-game bugs and suspicious activity, show the staff you care, and they will invite you to be a beta tester. (at least, thats how it happened for me)
I would also recommend finding an active alliance of people you enjoy playing with.
I'm open for an April PL.
FP system choose random active users to be FP, it happens this way unless someone from staff added you personally by request to themGrandNagusZek wrote:

agree with mark this time, no events = no active players = community dead = no reason to stay here
ah okay, I was invited to FP immediately after getting a reply to an in-game report I made, so I was just assuming it was for people who report bugs/etc.nemuritor98 wrote:

Thanks for letting us know how it actually works
Also, I agree with you guys that there should be more community events. I was looking forward to joining the Players League game for April, but have been disappointed to not see the signups and then reading that apparently the PL's organizer is awol
Are invitations to become a Frontline Pioneer really "random?"nemuritor98 wrote:

I was under the impression that invitations are, at least in part, tied to having above-average game stats. When I am actively playing, I receive a FLP invitation about once every other month.
yes, it's random between the players that the system registered as activeMontanaBB wrote:

Then I get randomly asked to be a Frontline Pioneer A LOT. LOLnemuritor98 wrote:

there are a fixed amount of slots, if players that join FP gets inactive in FP rounds, system kicks them to invite another oneMontanaBB wrote:

The community is free to organize their own events at all times, we can help with promoting promising events on the main page.
We will also work on more game events in the future. For example today we just announced to open a limited amount of speed rounds as little event, check out the news
Well my frd freezy, i was taking part in the megastate rp for example , i was not part of the organising team, they needed to do it on a 100 player map, but now after 2weeks of tying to get 25 players, no mod can create the game for us , as i unserstood they needed 50 players to do it, and all the chat room went vs each other and 2 weeks of trying to make an event happen went off bcs we couldt open a 100 player map for the rp!
As a side note, if you enjoy FP, do not clear your cache. I was briefly FP and had an issue that I cleared my cache and when I did it was gone. Not to be restored. At the time I believe I was on to a major production bug in the coding as increasing levels on things like infrastructure, industry and morale was actually reducing my production on that map. More data was needed, but alas I was shut out. Maybe next time.
Gee whiz, that sounds like a major flaw in how Frontline Pioneer membership is documented/toggled in the Call of War software. If you can lose your FLP membership by clearing your browser cache, that sounds like it is tied to a cookie. Of so, that's not a particularly robust system -- especially if it cannot be immediately restored.Peter Mat wrote:

You cannot lose your FP membership by clearing your cache, only by being not active in a FP game. FP membership is stored on our servers.
I gave you FP again Pete, plz join an FP round within a week or it will go away again.
I will need to report it as a bug then, as it happened, and I was active. You can check with JewBear as he was in the game with me, and I was upset when it happened. Unfortunately I do not remember the game #. It might be in the FP bug threads if needed. @freezy
Ah just read the bottom, Thank you!
