Many of you may not know what this game is, but it's a game developed by Bytro Labs that takes place from late medieval ages to the Napoleonic periods. This game is probably the least known game developed by Bytro. A feature that I like in this game is exploration and colonization. The forum in the game is basically dead, so I decided to put on the Call of War forum so more people can see it.

I'm currently playing as England and I'm allies with Scotland. As you see I have conquered Wales. If you have any questions or curiosities feel free to ask.

Oh cool, I need to try that.
Seems like a good game
Yeah, you need to send explorers to explore the hidden parts of the map, and send colonists to colonize the land.Karl von Krass wrote:

Maybe it won't be long before this shows up as an ad for some youtuber. I did encounter CoW thanks to YT, after all.
It will take a while to get used to these new mechanics, especially the exploring and colonizing.

It's actually not that hard once you get used to it. It places a bigger emphasis on strategical warfare rather than tactical warfare.chrisgarci wrote:

I played that once! I made a scottish empire, colonized america, and then sent huge naval fleets everywhere
Definitely a weird and interesting way to further my knowledge of pre-Napoleonic history...Maybe I'll try it as well
This game is closing down unfortunately
New World Empires is a very excellent game.
You can explore "real world" map or a random one.
It is more strategic for sure. You do need to even explore you can just fight & conquer if you want, but the exploring adds an interesting part of the game in addition to just conquering.
