ok so the new update made it so that colonies are all core provinces, also all cities in colonies now have industrial complexes, this allows italy to produce more oil than any other nation (i think) and britain to produce huge amounts of troops and capture places all around the world. (i am not complaining i think it helps alot) also some islands are not cored (for example the newly added Port Blaire) also the new capitals of Lithua and Estonia should be moved back to Kaunas and Talin, finaly Poland's new city: Gdyna should have the same buildings that Danzig had before the new update. poland is already in a bad enough position, inbetween Germany and Soviet union

It would be harder to play as China having Japanese occupied territory considered as their core. I prefer it stayed true historical accuracy making most colony occupied, such as France might consider Algeria as core. It also forgot Dili in Timor is Portugal's colony at the time.
i think that a lot of the countries should keep their colony cores, however things like your example of japan owning china should be non core, and china should have cores on the japaneese teritory prehaps, however, italian ethiopia is unrealistic, as they had just invaded ethiopia a few years earlier, france does need a reasource production boost
This is actually a bug, thank you for reporting it. It will be fixed asap, creating new maps of this type is paused until the bug is fixed.
I have been the 25 player map and i think would be good if the industrial complexines are left in as germany is left far too overpowered early game and the british are easily too weak
It would be nice if the french could fix their food problem and the soviets were balanced and the americans they had much more production than germany in 1939

well at least i got to play as italy and get lots of oil from lybia, mabey some cores could be kept, like french algeria, and china have cores on japaneese china, it really helps, i loved it, mabey have a survay on what people think about it, nooooooooooo i am sad with myself

I really like the new cores it really helps with oil problems for france as well as food issues and balances the british up with germans. The soviets also need far more industry.
Britian also can produce 20k oil which really helps as britian starts off weak and with much less oil than in real life. It would be good if after some amount time places your conquer became your core territory it would help with keeping games lasting longer
