People going inactive immediately?

In All In, I made a Scandinavian coalition as Norway, we were making plans about defense and how we'd survive, but half the map went inactive by day 3. Around 80% was inactive after that. I remember on my Antarctica game last Christmas, I could've won if I kept playing as 90% of the map was gone in a couple of days. I've noticed this in 100p too, if people aren't actively conquering a continent there's a really good chance they will leave fast. On 100p I've started working inactives into my strategies, for example, Saskatchewan is probably the least popular nation in the game. They're usually picked last then the person instantly leaves, so, free land for me. I can't be the only one noticing this amount of inactivity.
