Hello. I’ve been playing in a role-play on discord. It’s on Historic World War. I’m Poland. So, the roleplay went on for a week or so with no issues. Then, Germany had to leave the roleplay for a week. A few days after Germany left, the AI attacked me. I managed to beat the AI, and began taking territory. Around this time, my allies, notably the Soviet Union, began telling me to stop invading Germany and wait until the player came back. I kept advancing, because I didn’t want to lose units. Eventually, I controlled most of Germany, except for 4 cities. Then, Germany came back, and my problems began. She wanted me to give her back all of her land, including Konigsberg. Her argument was that she wasn’t part of the roleplay while she was inactive, so the war didn’t count. I refused to do this. I kept trying to compromise, promising to cede more and more of her land back. The other players began pressuring me to give all of the land back. Eventually, I hit a limit where I couldn’t give any more land. At this point, Germany just decided to keep fighting me. She was very toxic. Now, I am very unpopular. Was it right to not give all of Germany’s land back?
Depends on how your roleplay map deal with inactives. In my opinion you should get reparations for your effort, since you cannot get off scot-free with a weakened enemy. What I'll suggest is a conference with all the players to decide how it will be dealt with. If she continues to invade into your land, you have all the right to conquer her.
I think you should of pressed on as quickly as possible and wiped the Germans out while you had the upper hand. As for the other players putting pressure on you to save the poor old Reich, I would tell them to go 'chuck themselves', off a cliff. You already did more damage to your true enemy than the real country ever did back in history, so no matter if you find yourself ganged up upon and doomed to fall, you still deserve recognition and at least a morale victory for your uncommon actions, and rare results.
Ask the game admin for inactive rules. Best us to give territory back as RP things. Also Germany seems to fit the clichè 'Toxic admin taking major nations'

i believe the problem resolved, i am in the same server as Brutus
Yep. I ceded all territory. To give you an idea of how toxic Germany was, they threw a tantrum when I wanted to keep a city until my nuke was finished.
