Rules for the 1914

Universal Rules

1. One day = 3 months

2. 1 article must be written every day (at least 50 words)

3. Blueprint units are banned

4. 7 day landswap, countries may help other to conquer territory

How about this:

- Russia will play as the Russian Empire and annex all of: Finland, Caucasus, Ukraine, Communist Russia, Karelia, and the Cossack Republic, Latvia and Estonia. Russia will also annex parts of Poland, and Romania.

The following provinces of Poland will be taken by Russia: Lida, Pinsk, Bialystok, Kielse, Tarnow, Lulbin, Warsaw, Lutsk, Zamosc, Przemysl, Lvov, Ternopil, Grodno, Vilnius, Seiradz, and Lodz

ALL OTHER POLISH PROVINCES WILL BE TAKEN BY GERMANY

THAT IS ALL THE LAND THAT RUSSIA WILL HAVE AFTER THE LAND SWAP PERIOD.

Germany shall annex parts of Poland, Czechoslovakia, and France.

Germany shall take the following Polish provinces (any Polish provinces not taken by the Russian Empire):

- Poznan

- [b]Danzig

- Bydgoszcz

- Olsztyn

- Cracow (I'm feeling generous)

Germany shall take the following French Provinces:

- Strasbourg

Germany shall take the following Czeck Provinces:

- Liberec

The United Kingdom will annex all of Ireland, All of Egypt (except for provinces listed below) and Nicosia from Greece.

The UK [b]WILL NOT annex the following provinces from Egypt:

- Amman

- Karak

- Akaba

- Jerusalem[/b]

-Gaza

Those Provinces will go to Turkey (Ottoman Empire).

The only province not to be seized by the UK will be Siwa Oasis, this is where someone's alt account will play as Egypt (having only 1 province as in line with the map. This alt-egypt will be paid sanctions rather than paying sanctions to a moderator.

Turkey will annex all of Syria, Iraq, Albania and Saudi Arabia (except for Jawf which will be a backup province for the alt Egypt to keep realistic borders and to make sure that it will always be protected (as Carking is not a troll and this province will be surrounded by Ottomans).

The rest of Greece will be taken by the Balkans who will play as Yugoslavia. Yugoslavia must seize territory before anyone else so they are not accidentally knocked out of the game.

Belgrade Will be taken by the Balkans

Spain will annex Western Sahara

Sweden will annex Norway

Canada will annex the province of Windsor from Detroit

Northern States of America will take over all of Detroit except for Windsor.

Southern United States will take Cuba

The following Yugoslav territories will be kept by the Balkans:

- Podgorica

- Pristina

- Nis

- Dubrovnik (they need 1 core city)

They will annex all of Bulgaria

As well as the following Romanian Provinces (The balkans will take these, not Russia)

- Bucharest

- Constanta

- Iasi

- Bacau

- Chisinau

- Braila

- Tulcea

- Ploesti

Libya will be annexed by Turkey

5.

All Bomber Aircraft are Banned until 1917

Fighters may be built from day one

All secret units except RRGs are banned.

All self Propelled Units are Banned

Germany may have 2 RRGs

France can have one

no other country is allowed railroad guns

Armored cars and infantry can be built in any ratio within your unit cap

you must have a 2 day build up of tensions to declare war

12 hours no aggression unless agreed to by both parties, must be posted in the newspaper

The option to surrender is open if you lose more than 75% of your country or 60% of your army or your capital.

while single air units may be shot down

Flipping political doctrine is allowed as long as you remain in your alliance

any battleship may be sunk if it is within range of the a province's node after a 6 hour warning

This also goes for cruisers which may also be sunk if they are within range

Unit Caps:

Russia: No Numerical, Technological is the level below the max (not blueprint)

France: 120 units

UK, Austria-Hungary, Italy, Ottoman Empire: 80 units

America (Combined): 80 units

Everyone else: 60

Germany: No cap at all

Industry:

Russia: Level 3

Ottoman Empire: Level 3

These Caps end in 1911

Level 3 tacs against high level infantry and armored car armies along with many interceptors, you mean? At the current rate of time, planes will be unlocked after 4x7 days, starting at day 8. That’s 28 days, plus 7 at the start means day 35. They would not even be used at all. 1918 would barely be a year. These are other issues with the current time as well.

That’s not the point - the reason why we introduce unit and level caps isn’t for balance, but also for historical accuracy. There was just no way that planes at that time would pack that punch.

we’re using a WW2 template for a ww1 Roleplay. It’s never gonna be perfect, but level 3 and 4 are extremely high. widespread use of ground strafing aircraft only came into play in ww2. That’s just the reality

Either way, the time still is messed up. 1918 will not even be reached. Planes were used in offensive maneuvers, so at least level 2 and 3 are acceptable. Not even having the last year of ww1 is not historically accurate!

I mean supremacy 1914 makes them quite strong so there is that…

Planes were mostly used for reconnaissance and shooting down enemy planes, pretty much until 1917.

I’ll stretch to a cap to level 2 attack and tacs, but not more than that.

Day 3, technically. That would mean it’s 1911 in 4 months, Autumn of 1910 in 3.

The time started on day 7. That means we have 29 days.

That means 7.25 years. Your right that means the game ends in 1917.
