Shared map/right of way.

Hello.

If a country offers shared map in return for right of way. Does that mean only I can see his units they can’t see mine? And does that mean only they can enter my land and I can’t enter his?

Thanks everyone.

With shared map you can see his all his troops all the time and cross his land without starting a war. With right of way you can cross the land, but you can't see the troops unless you have units that are close like normal.

These asymmetrical diplomacy trades happen when one country wants to keep tabs on another.

For example, let's take Germany and Belgium.

Germany is much stronger. He can crush Belgium, but for some reason, doesn't want to.

Germany demands Share Maps from Belgium so he can never stage a surprise attack.

Germany offers Right of Way to Belgium to prevent war when their units cross paths by accident.

It can be a useful arrangement. Germany feels safer. Belgium gets to survive.
