It's been a while since my last playthrough, but here is a new one!
Day 1: I started my basics, grouping everything up, and building industries in my oil and steel provinces. Soviet Union seems to not have that many Oil and Steel provinces so I may have to get some. I started my research with armored cars and Artillery, I'm going to need to get tanks fast so I researched Armored cars. After that, I started getting ready for those tanks so I built some tank barracks.
I looked at the coalitions, so far none yet. I'm not sure who I'll invade, probably the ones with the most oil and steel so probably Turkey. Anyways, that's all for today, I will edit this on day 2.

Yes, just stop caring as much about casualties from AI. Make sure to not say on coastal cities for too long though, Battleships. Allow units to attack when you are asleep. The longer you wait the more AI will attack you and more overwhelmed and bored you’ll get.

You can take your time, however it won’t be fun when you get swarmed bu the AI…
Day 21: I continued to push into France and Greece, I will be sending in reinforcements to the Italian front as well.
I think my AI popularity is up, because a few countries are giving me RoW.
Constrcruction: A bunch of level 1 tank barracks for the cities that I haven't built in.
Production: A bunch of tanks.
Day 22: The counterattack I was waiting for from Germany happened, which is good news because they normally only attempt to do 1 counterattack. Bad news? Half of my troops are gone, I need more reinforcements, but I can't ally with anyone because I'm doing a solo run, so I will have to produce fast!
Research: Rocket Artillery and level 1 atomic bomb (Still researching)
Construction: Level 2 medium tanks (Out of date, yes I know)
Production: Nothing, way too much metal, and too expensive.
Day 23: Oh the border gore, look what Spain had done to Europe! (Spain is my next major target, but first, the Baltics after I'm done with this war) The Italian AI had trapped one of my best stacks, and the only way to save them was to have them retreat into deeper territory.
Anyway, here Is what's happening.
Research: Rocket Artillery and Nuclear Bomber
Construction: Nothing, I need to save the metal.
Production: A bunch of light tanks (I'll fix the metal problem as soon as I'm done with Germany)

How are you dying to AI?
Why are you still making level 1 light tanks on 23? If you don’t have resources, then build industry and don’t spend them at all…
Day 24: I think I'm struggling a bit, the Italian AI is the one who's causing trouble now. They killed a lot of my troops, I think I'm going to be in trouble if I don't produce fast enough. I need to bring my forces to strategic positions and possibly find all the troop's locations so I can flank them. I will put a battle plan here in just a bit.
In the meantime here is what I'm researching, and constructing.
Research: Atomic Bomber and Mechanized Infantry
Construction: A bunch of Barracks.
Any tips on how to get back onto my feet?
Make stacks of 10 and send them alongside arty, bombers. Ai will die.
Also upgrade your units… of course if you run into anything, even AI with trash level 1 tank you’ll die. I’d you don’t have enough resources, stop making stuff, hold the line until you have. Then win. Having moved faster earlier before the AI could have won would have been easier, though…
Good idea, I'll hold the line.
Day 25: I have drawn some battle plans for my next offensive, but for now, I need to hold these positions. Here is my plan: Wait for the AI to attack and have them destroy their own soldiers, if they don't do it, then we will reinforce the weak positions, and prepare for another major offensive.
Anyway, here is what I'm researching, constructing, etc.
Research: Still researching Nuclear Bombers and Mechanized Infantry.
Construction: Nothing
Production: Nothing.
Level up to like level 3. Level 1 is too weak past day 8-10

Day 26: Atomic Bomber has been researched and is currently being produced, I am producing two. I am now starting the major counter-counter attack. I've been building a few secret labs so I can produce more atomic bombers. I don't know what else to put here other than my upcoming surprise attack, I want to keep the AI busy wall my stack from Greece comes in and flanks them.
I am planning on building some naval bases and researching Battleships so I can rule the waves and not have to worry about surprise attacks on the sea.
I think that's all, I will update you all later.

Production: 2 atomic bombers.
"Tank barracks?" Either its a barracks or its a tank factory... either way, it sounds as if you're building them because there are cities that aren't producing. Don't do that; build them only when you have enough resources to keep them actually producing troops.NEPTUNE the great wrote:
