Maybe the real victory wasn’t completing the challenge in ten days, but the friends we made along the way…
CarKing the 6th of the Abrahamic Caliphate
Good day to all, with the recent interest of speedrunning a solo victory in less than 10 days, I also have decided to take a shot at it, playing as Ukraine in Clash of Nations. The reason I chose it is due to the fact that most of my neighbours are commies and I can easily expand in 3 directions, along with the extra oil production.
My strategy is to create atacks of ACs, Arty, Infantry and LC's as gorund forces and produce ceptors, and tacs early game to protect my troops. (It's day 2 as i forgot to create this yesterday)
I have easily defeated crimea and commie russia, losing only 1 unit in the process. As of now, I am (temporairly?) allied with turkey and finland, and invading Poland and Romania.
Will post again tomorrow.
Regards

Ye same here, my game got bogged down too; day 7 and only 300 VP, big resistance from Italy and Germany. Have to invest in combined arms to get rid of their troops (Italy is decently smart). Sam was either very lucky, or is hiding some tricks up his sleeveCarking the 6th wrote:

You may have gotten bogged, but friendship will get you out of it!_Pyth0n_ wrote:

haha i was quite lucky to have no experienced resistance, and i was surprised at the result. i expect if i did 10 speedruns more would come out as a failure, i just happened to get a map of noobs. was still relatively tricky tho, so it is a challenge_Pyth0n_ wrote:
