LOL ... Perhaps the wording should be changed from 'demand' to 'need' ...OfLittleOrNoConcern wrote:

Yeah or else new players might get confused and angry.gusv wrote:

I just saw a noob move. In HWW I’m playing as USSR and Mongolia declared war on me but didn’t send any troops and then asked for peace. He’s basically lowering his global popularity. Lol
Yeah I’ve seen people on the other side of the world declare war on me for no reason. Once in a 100p game I was Sao Palau and nationalist China declared war on me on day 1. Also once I was U.K. on historic world war and Manchukto declared war on me on day 2.GeneralAumSum wrote:

Most noob move I ever saw was Mongolia declaring war on every other country on the planet. Got wiped out on day 1.
I just finished a 22p Europe map, Finland and Sweden both declared war in everyone, they hung on for a bit, but almost every province they captured rebelled soon after.DoctorDR1 wrote:

Mongolia was right next to me. Also in another game which was pacific conquest New Zealand declared war on me but then got wiped out by day 2 by my allies. I was playing as Papua New GuineaRiverWolf74 wrote:

On my last game on the 22-player tutorial map about a year ago, Italy and France formed an alliance (I was Sweden). By day 2 the Italian player sent a threatening message to the other 20 players, telling them 'you are with us, or you are against us'. Since nobody out of the 20 players joined his alliance, he declared war on all of us. I just embargoed him. But within a couple of days, Germany, Yugoslavia, and Libya wiped him out ...
Did that in my first game about a year and a half ago ... Also used naval bombers vs. surface ships ... Lost a number of them before I realized that naval bombers specialize in hunting subs ...KriegMaker wrote:

Really? I took down convoys and stack of battleships with 4 stacks of Naval Bombers. I never really know that, I even upgraded them to level 4 in one of my games. I was even impressed at their Ship killing capabilities that I put them in high regard.gusv wrote:

they don’t specialise in killing subs, they reveal them. They cause more damage to ships than subsgusv wrote:

I just saw a noob move. I'm playing world at war 1-5 and uk declared war on everyone then all his provinces rebelled
DoW does not harm morale in 1.5GeneralAumSum wrote:

This applies to 1.0
- Does not to buy up rare materials or wheat from the market in the first two days while they are still cheap
- Spends all their rare materials on 2 or 3 new ICs in random provinces
- Builds barracks in every single province, because it's the quickest building to make, then pumps out an army of militia ( O partigiano, you'll keep fighting the good fight in the hills )
- Proceeds to beg every single one of your neighbours for rare materials and food because of the above
- Puts units in the middle of the road or just next to the town centres
- Uses interceptors to *strafe* enemy units because they have machine guns and machine guns are good against infantry and civilians
- Bombards enemy towns with destroyers and submarines for days
- Attempts to get everyone to be on your side and help you
- Accepts terrible trade offers, like 5000 money for 4900 rare materials
- Acting entitled and asking coalition members to give you enemy provinces they conquer because "I need it for wheat" or "I need it for rare materials", then promising to "give something in return later"
- Further ticks off coalition members by starting unsanctioned wars against an AI, then proceeding to lose ground and expose allied positions to midnight AI offensives
- Adding the final straw via cowardice and untrustworthiness, by telling your coalition members you cannot join them in an attack on your neighbour because "he's also my ally"
Yup, I've preyed on a lot of tutorial games.
Whenever feasible, one should always try to eat the rude.
