It depends. Sometimes I just find it faster to build the airport while driving my planes there. Yes, I know the risk, so I have other planes covering.

Never upgrading their factories and then whine that you are cheating because you are producing units faster than them. :tumbleweed:

Player from a coalition, that is full, asks if I want to be allies, or am I planning on attacking his whole coalition ........ and doesn't see my point when I point out that his coalition is full so how could I be an ally to them [unless he thinks I want to help them win lol] :wallbash

Im happy that servers haven't gone down in a long time now...but they just started like...20....world at war matches so I'm gonna be prepared.

Build a carrier but don't build planes to put on it ...... :wallbash

those noobs waste their time

When a noob next to you is sharing maps and then cancelling share maps. And then complains about why you attacked them unprovoked.

So my Level 38 (you'd think he'd know better) TEAM ally (unfortunately there's no coalition for me to leave, to escape from the guy) spends the entire game building only light tanks and towed AT guns...

Literally. Not a single aircraft, no AA weapons, no other type of unit at all.

On Day 16 he launches an all-out attack on an opponent with a strong airforce. He sends his troops charging at the enemy at the break-neck speed of towed AT (because, of course, he keeps his light tanks forever stacked with those towed AT, and never let's them move independently or exploit opportunities).

You can imagine what happened.

And then on Day 17 he quits the game.

Truly, an example and clear distinction between being a "noob" and being a "newbie" (which we all were at one time).

A newbie (say, Level 1, or maybe 2) could be excused for not understanding tactics (or even common sense), but not a Level 38 player.

No... No, dear fellow CoW gamers... THIS GUY is the real thing... a NOOB, par excellance!

That is not even a noob any more. That guy needs some counselling on how to stay committed.

Game I am in now only has 5 active players left, 3 who are together in a coalition, 5th seems content to putt around the UK. They were talking tough to me, saying you can't take on the 3 of us. Romania, under AI control, is kicking one of their butts, and the second {France] is getting beat up by Yugo [also AI] and Greece. It's bad when the player lands in Greece and Greece defeats the landing and then counter-invades in Italy, taking over the southern part of it. Yugo grabbed to top half. Fun to watch lol

This happens too often. I have actually helped a coalition at the end of a game just to finish the game off but, I have received several messages asking if I was planning on attacking their coalition. Its 4 on 1 and they are basically wanting me to hold off so that they can get everything in place and attack me all at once. I guess fulfilling that desire would be a noob move in and of itself

a backup member doesnt hurt just in case one goes inactive or betrays

usually in my coalition when a member goes inactive and doesnt come back in say 3 days, we all attack his land.

How abt yall?

One day there will be no more wars

I dislike the word noob!

99 percent of the time inactivity is just an excuse to betray members which we dont like lol :tumbleweed: :)
