Tactical Bombers should be on Aircraft Carriers
- I think we should let the Tactical Bombers be on the Aircraft Carrier because if your gonna bomb units that are across the see it is a little dumb that you have to CAPTURE a province in order to bomb units nearby. So I think that Tactical bombers should ride the carriers so that if you are planning a invasion you can take out some troops before your army arrives there

I just don’t understand why you need a level 4 tactical bombers to be on a aircraft carrier , isn’t that a little unfair?

Tactical bombers already have longer range than interceptors. Tac bombers tended to get smaller and more transportable, not bigger. Naval bombers and interceptors were designed to fit on aircraft carriers for advanced mobility. Tax bombers were just designed to fly really far. The Doolittle Raid was an excellent example of this: the bombers barely fit on the carrier. If they were allowed to travel via carrier by level 1, then not only would you have to worry about early game naval raids, now you have to worry about overseas tactical bombing.
See how that's a massive balancing issue?

Well, given that you have to get a L3 naval base, research tacs and carriers (and probably some escort ships as well), then build the carrier, then you can fit a whole TWO bombers on them, then sail somewhere useful... not really an early game thing to get some punches out.

if you look at almost every ww2 tactical bomber, they were either to large or too underpowered to be able to take off from an aircraft carrier without anything to assist them in the take off ( in ww2 they had no catapults for take off assist).
even the doolittle raid little did very little and they had to ditch into the sea as they could not carry enough fuel to return! each bomber only carrried one or two 500 lb bombs. so in reality even the dolittle raid did little!
and even if the b-17's could have returned to the carrier, there is no way they could have landed on the carrier.

To each there own; I do use them. I don't use some other units though. Tank destroyers, militia, rocket fighters, nukes... <>

Same, I don't bother creating. I did that once on a map and I kinda felt powerful when one big naval unit moved towards my enemy.
