Ok so if there's units that destroys morale how will taxes be off any help?ten strat bombers will drop your morale to 0% instantly, how much do you have to decrease your taxes to get the morale up again?who and what will be taxed?the game already has a propaganda office to increase province morale, I know sometimes you can have lvl 3 propaganda office and it will still revolt but that's just the way the game is, either have sufficient units in the province or recapture it.jiggabop wrote:
How about a tax's slider... wait ik what you may say (oh daily upkeep we dont need a interactive taxes option) but listen, INCREASE taxes = lower morale.... DECREASE TAXES = higher morale... although ik that there's strat, spies, nukes and rockets spammers who destroy morale anyway. If it were a really long game with a long peace period it could work. plus propaganda, who doesn't like that?
Taxes (just want to let off some steam)

My guess is that you can either reduce taxes by up to 50%, which doubles your morale gain, or increase them by up to 200%, which halves it. Much like how industry increases resource production by a percentage, this would do the same. So if a province gives you 600 dollars, you can change that from 300-1200. Iβll let others argue about the suggestion itself though.Vanrendo wrote:

Hmm interesting suggestion, but like so many others, even if Bytro liked it it would be put at the back of the βwould be niceβ list.
Agreed.SamPGS_17 wrote:

I would suggest that dropping taxes wouldn't increase morale unless they are dropped to only 25% or less, otherwise, it could just cause a lot of moral/revolt/economic managing headaches that would put off some new players, so it best to keep it something that only more experienced people are likely to use.
Thank you for that explanationCarking the 6th wrote:
