Absolutely shocked

I though you would die right away

A death blow:

Last night, Germany went inactive and in response, France and USSR declared was on Germany. As france and especially the USSR had made significant inroads into Germany, I decided to hop on the bandwagon and try my luck at Frankfurt and Cologne. The initial attack went well with Cologene captured. Content, I went to sleep.

However, when I woke up, the German AI had pulled off a massive counter-attack retaking all of their core homeland from me AND FRANCE while the USSR has been pushed back into their homeland (Minsk has already fallen). It appears everyone had severely underestimated Germany and the player had done a large build-up of high-level troops which the AI was now using to wreck everyone. Whilst France and USSR are able to call in more troops from their other fronts and wars, I was left with a mere 3 militia.

Nevertheless, I have vowed to continue to the bitter end so I am now producing troops in all available factories. I think I can recover from this blow but it does significantly reduce the chance of solo victory. Nevertheless, I will try my best to do achieve a solo victory but having the AI wipe out your troops is tough. That is the first time I have lost in any sense to AI.

Oh well, soldier on!

The final stand:

As I had mentioned earlier, the AI had wiped out all my troops garrisoning the 2 German cities so I had nothing left except 3 militia to defend my homeland from the relentless German Attack. As such the AI moved their troops to directly assault my capital. There was not much to do but wait as the artillery started pounding on Luxembourg city. For the first time, my homeland was under assault and it was vulnerable.

Yet all hope was not lost as those who have been following my story know that I have a whopping 90% resistance to damage AND a 15% additional damage dealt in my capital. Thus despite the strong German attack, they never made it through into the city and when my rocket artillery was built and additional reinforcements came from Amsterdam, the German attack was not only repelled but destroyed in its totality.

As such, the path to Cologne and Frankfurt lay open once more and I did not hesitate to push forward. As I arrived in Frankfurt, I caught 1/3 of the German air fleet refuelling after an attack on France and my two rocket artilery quickly destroyed their airstrips to convert them into convoys. My meagre revenge for the destruction of the Grand Luxembourg Army.

I missed my shot at a Luxembourg game but I will attempt it next time. But my man here seems to have a good shot at victory so that’s nice. The level of chad oozing from here is insane.

I won a game with hungary as solo of course germany was inactive , time to try luxembourg this time

A challenge that depends on your neighbors being inactive is a bit meh.

Well when I managed it, I moreso played Germany against the allies, and then they killed each other and I attacked Germany as they lost motivation. Caused a loss in motivation 10/10
