Trading Units

I think it we should be allowed to trade units in matches. The cap would be 5 per game and 1 per day from day 7. (to prevent multi-accounters from cheating more). This would be realistic because USA gave destroyers to Britain in return for right of way, and France gave battleships to Britain to prevent them from becoming Italian.

You should have played the game a few years ago then, but now, they got rid of that feature.

The problem with the 5 per game is someone could stack all their units day 7, trade them and then all away. If you limit it to 5 units total, like 5 infantry, then I don't see a point in trading.

Perhaps you have a count for it, like with province trading. If you trade away a unit, you go to -1 but if you receive a unit you go to +1. This would encourage coalitions to exchange units together.

I wish they didn't get rid of that feature. I remember trading it was so nice :/

Well, you might say that but in my opinion without the abuses, unit trading was a perfectly fine feature. I never encountered abuse of this ability so I personally have no opinion on it.

By that logic, I've never met someone with measles, so I don't see why I should get the vaccine.

In 1.0 unit trading was an issue in combination with the tech trick
