See the screen shot. I'm South China (purple), and I'm at war with Nationalist China (yellowish) and at peace with Communist China (Green). NC and CC are allied.
I have moved several units through Nanking province now (from SW to SE), and they won't take the land. I think it has to do with CC standing SO close to the province point, though it doesn't evoke war with him when we rush through either. Funny, eh?

So the CC inf is "protecting" the province (within 5km), but without it triggering a war with them (greater than 5km)? How do the units not collide yet somehow the province is "protected"?

I know what causes this but for reasons i cannot specify, i cannot state what causes this, as it's game breaking in large amounts.

Perhaps this is a glitch within the actual province itself, and not the units (or at least a mix of both)? Something really weird had to happen for this…
