I doubt I works. Once it is fired it cannot be "sent" back. Even if you declare peace it will be a perfidious act of war? Have you done it before. If you have, it is a bug. Lmao

UNSTOPPABLE? I think not!
As we all know rockets are pretty much not controllable oonce fired and you cannot make them stop their attack but what if there was a trick regarding it. The thing is if you have misfired your rocket maybe perhaps due to a misclick or hallucination or maybe just because you'r drunk you can still save the rockets. This can be done by immediately declaring peace with your enemy (to whom you have fired the rockets) once you have done this you will find that the rockets just sit comfortably back on the province from which you fired them. Also devs you can take this as a bug report. Hope it helps save the lives of some precious rockets. Peace

I also stumbled upon this happy glitch, but never thought about it as throughly as this member, well done, I assume I had preformed an unrepeatable series of steps and this was a one off event lol

Jester i find rockets quite useful as you don't reach nukes quite early and even in the process of reaching nuke (not the bomber) you need rockets researched so when you have researched i think it is quite useful to actually make some.
