USA blitzkrieg : a report made by request

USA: Context

I was challenged by an alliance to an AvA [a name i will not disclose] on the request of the leader, we took blitzkrieg as the game mode to play on. but since the enemy alliance didnt place a peace period they wanted to re-challenge to play with peace period. with my naivety, i accepted. i was shown great dissatisfaction by my alliance members because we were in THREE AvAs. anyways, the alliance formed together in the challenge. since the challenge included random select and i was the first guy to enter, i got USA, but sadly my allies were not as good.

ALLIED NATIONS: France, Turkey, USSR, Sweden and me(USA)

ENEMY NATIONS: Germany, UK, Spain, Italy and Yugoslavia

As anyone who as played blitzkrieg 1.5 knows, we got some of the weakest nations and the enemy bagged the best.

Stage 1: tense peace period

I decided to attack Canada to get VPs. (slightly on the nooby side of me). within 12 hrs i decided to change the routtes of units and sent them to Lisbon and Dublin alongside with my navy. Within a day i was able to get my navy to be in the english channel and my units outside lisbon and dublin. but i was TOO SLOW if i were a few hours earlier, i wouldve taken lisbon. on second thought, this actually good for me, i didnt have to fight spain head on. At the UK front i was landing bombarding troops at dublin but it seemed to me that UK was going straight for France and didnt care to take ireland. i left my ships on an overnight route to the english channel. All this time, my alliance officer (France)was co-ordinating with us, i was supplying france with tons of resources.

Stage 2: Peace ends, Channel Dash commences

I had done some last minute changes in my formation that was super ineffective that compromised the situation, and in my mind it increased the chance from the Brits to land on Normandy . i rushed my navy back into optimal position and attacked UK alongside the French. during this firefight, i destroyed a British fleet, this commotion caused UK player to retreat his convoys and they made a dash for Hamburg. i used one of my (badly damaged) fleet to bait the british out of the english channel i used the reserve fleet for bombarding UK. i later communicated with the leader of enemy allianc and he said that he was greatly disappointed by the conduct of his allies because they couldnt follow orders, he passed leadership to his 2nd-in command and left the alliance . it was a big betrayal.

France attacked Italy and quickly took Po river valley and was advancing in Libya.

USSR attacked and took warsaw from poland and placed enormous pressure on germany and destroyed it's navy.

Sweden who for the most part was inactive, started mobilising and attacked germany. a surprise to be sure but a welcome one.

Turkey helped to defeat british navy at egypt.

Stage 3: advantage achieved and the british expedition to the north pole

by the next 2 days, France had established dominance over Italy and i was going to flood the Atlantic sea with my unit the USSR had managed to destroy the british landing at hamburg with battleships. Sweden had started landing on germany and was going to be the only country to effectively fight germany on land,, since USSR was too scared to attack them. there was a disappointment with france about USSR's performance at the game and USSR completely stalled.

my damaged fleet was still pursued by the british, so thought i will send them as far as possible so that i can land troops to attack mainland UK and reinforce france and i sent it to an expedition to the north pole and unsurprisingly, the brits followed . the convoy meant to attack lisbon and landed at bordeaux to attack spain (particularly his border airfields).

Stage 4: complete conquest and victory

by this point france completely took over the italian peninsula and took control of libya, Sweden conquered the entire Prussia region and Turkey took over the middle East, while USSR did zilch, and as for me, i took over UK completely and conquered Spain alongside France. We won soon after at day 8, i think.

Aftermath: we celebrated our well earned victory and congratulated each other while the enemy alliance was left head-less. USSR was sad that France didnt like his performance and he left the alliance .

NOTE: This information is what i can remember, it isnt accurate and it's just my narrative of the AvA, I am pretty sure the other participants (enemy alliance)t perspective on this game.
