I have share map with Soviet Union in Historical game. I am Japan. I cannot see what his units are in Vladivostock even when I fly a patro pland directly overhead. I can see stacks of units with ? designations is all. Why?

If you have shared maps then you can see all his troops. Even stealth troops you can see. Why are you scouting your ally anyways? Are you going to backstab him? Because that would be pretty low.
People backstab me all the time. Don't most CoW players get the solo wins that way?BMfox wrote:

You should chose your allies more wisely, this way you can't get backstabbed.
Never ever share maps with someone or give ROW. Only share maps with your coalition. Only chose players in your coalition who have good stats. If you do that you will be fine.

or Patroling a plane over an allied share map city could be to Operate from said city/ Patrol in general direction Or To Kill aerial Bombardment squadrons. Or in this case plane curiosity after seeing a stack with Composition '?'.BMfox wrote:

This looks like a bug that was posted on forums earlier. Please do report it @OysterT
This happens to me too. Even on unfriendly, but not stealth and even if I am fighting that unut, even if in view range, I cannot see it.

I only sent the patrol plane to look, because he has formed a coalition without me in it, yet he still provides me with share map. Since Vladivostock is right across the Sea of Japan from my home country and because he has built up multiple stacks there, I would like to know what I'm dealing with. Not too low, huh?
