Right on the money. The Finns got a few of these as booty from the Winter War. I believe they served in some capacity or other until the end of the war.K.Rokossovski wrote:
A Soviet T-28. A pre-war design for an infantry support medium tank, though this concept was mostly abolished when the war actually started. Most remaining ones were lost during Barbarossa.SuomiHunajaa wrote:

that would be the old Australian CA-15. Am I right? Yes, looks like a Mustang.injinji wrote:

I don't think it was ever in full production or let alone service as jet planes were the next coming thing.
Correct!SuomiHunajaa wrote:

No searching Google for image, Cheaters
Jack London, White Fang
My parents once told me not to play with matches, so I built a flamethrower
Avro Anson, I saw a documentary with them just last week.NukeRaider33 wrote:

Lol looks like the demon spawn of a Wellington and a Defiant.injinji wrote:

Hint: when trying to identify RAF aircraft types of WW2, use the squadron identifier shown on the side of the airframe around the roundel, in this case "B VX." That means the second aircraft ("B") of No. 206 Squadron ("VX"). Part of RAF Coastal Command, the 206 flew a variety of aircraft during the war, including the Anson at the outset in 1939. In this case, it was easy enough to find a list of WW2 squadron identification codes, and then look at the list of 4 or 5 aircraft the squadron flew during the course of the war.
Wow, that was fast. And I thought that picking a Canadian plane with British logos would throw everyone off.injinji wrote:

Well, I was mostly right.MontanaBB wrote:

There are some very bright minds here, maybe two years ago we had a similar thread that had to stop because we ran out of obscure tanks to post lol. Was quite a long thread too iirc.NukeRaider33 wrote:

How 'bout this one?
Now you are just showing off. With all due respect, Sgt Maj.
Almost like a trick question...
1) Who is she?
2) Any comments on the occasion?

I have never been able to identify ships, a google search meant I didn't even guess the right nation. Now that I know who she is though, I do know the occasion, but I won't say. It's a pity I knew who she was but couldn't put a face on her.K.Rokossovski wrote:

I know, if you give up it's an early Heinkel He 111 with a "stepped" cockpit.SuomiHunajaa wrote:

I'll get the location now so. Since it has a US flag on it I would imagine it's heading off to get nuked in the Kwajelein Atoll.injinji wrote:

Operation Crossroads, which means it's Prinz Eugen (or should I say, USS Prinz Eugen).Quasi-duck wrote:

Here's one only a true Star Wars fan will know.

TIE Defender and that is not using google. If it is from the new SW chidlrens show, no I don't watch that so I won't be able to tell the model.injinji wrote:

Both of you, correct! Sad to see such a beauty be nothing but fodder for a nuke test...injinji wrote:

I always wanted to see her made into a museum ship, but that just wasn't something they did back then. More glorious ships have been scrapped as well, a sad fate but an understandable one. The cost to keep them in good condition is astronomical.K.Rokossovski wrote:
