(Did anyone notice where Tankyjunki or whatever his name is went?)

He went inactive after 2 days, and got a warning for his avatar being an SS trooper.

This shouldn't be too hard.

It's some model of Lewis gun, and the sights appear to be those for aerial combat. This may have come with a rotating mount for a biplane backseat gunner, although the Brits (and others) used similar mounts for scout vehicles during WW2.

Another ship... BS this time, 4x3 12-inch guns in a very curious turret layout! Do they really want to blow off their own bridge?

The midships main gun turrets were a feature of many of the early modern "dreadnought" battleships, starting with HMS Dreadnought herself. Even several relatively modern second-generation U.S. Navy battleships had midships main gun turrets (e.g., USS Texas). The design concept largely passed out of vogue as naval gunfire targeting technology improved, and the tactic of a broadside battle line "crossing the T" of the enemy's battle line became outdated. Crossing the T required BBs with midships main guns to present the broadside -- and largest target aspect -- to the oncoming enemy, not generally the best tactic in an era of accurate 15-, 16- and 18-inch gunfire. As evidenced by the Bismarck vs. Hood encounter in 1941, whichever BB scored the first hits with its big guns would be the likely winner.

I came across this. What is it and what was it used for?

Depth charges, used for anti-submarine warfare.

Injinji is correct: it is a depth charge thrower commonly known as a "hedgehog." When an enemy submarine was detected as being close by the attacking destroyer, it would fire all of the hedgehog depth charges in a pre-set pattern, effectively blanketing the area with enough explosive charges to damage or sink the submarine.

Hedgehog is correct.

@Quasi-duck: Irish mechanized infantry?

LOL, My Google images said it was a modern Canadian Troop Transporter. But I like your Mechanized Inf idea better. You should see the spoof for the battleship and the aircraft carrier. :D

In google images search "Canadian Military meme"
