At first I thought it might be a machine gun mounted in the turret. After looking at it, I wonder if we are seeing the front on the lower hull with the turret facing the back of the tank, so we are seeing the back of the turret?
Panzer I - command variant?
Ok, Slow down guys, we Canadian Actually can transport our troops in armoured vehicles.Peter Mat wrote:
LOL, My Google images said it was a modern Canadian Troop Transporter.

This is an LAV III, a troop transport. In fact, we made this one right here in Canada.
Nope; its an Italian CV-33 light tank. Designed for mountain combat, it had to be light and manoevrable... the pic shows what that means when comparing it to a REAL battlefield queen.
yeet didnt think this would have been so popular, geuss its like the common forums. hmm. also if no one geussed that tank on the left is what i cll pityfull italian pasta spitter. it is a sad little machine that even the japs could kill easily.

Let us try to get this game back on

what is this thing and what would it be hooked up to?
It's obviously either a first or second-generation American mobile air-search radar truck, most likely of WW2 vintage.NukeRaider33 wrote:

Let's hope it was hooked to field telephone, radio or some other reliable form of communication. Otherwise, it wasn't particularly useful.
Did a google image search, says it is a WWII microwave. Is this for soldiers to heat up their rats?
it is a SCR-584 radar, create in the MIT Radiation laboratory, hooked up to a(n)..

I kid you not, this actually existed in World War 2. That is the rough sketch
It was most commonly hooked up to a 90 mm gun, like a M2
Very impressive, must not have been used much though.NukeRaider33 wrote:

Guess not... It seems to be intended to track and target slow high-altitude formations of heavy bombers (with the 90mm and all that), and I guess we know how much the Luftwaffe had of those by the time stuff like this became available.
Nope, It was used to shoot down the V1, but that was only the most well known case. There were many other documented case of these guns shooting other aircraft.K.Rokossovski wrote:
