What are all the new playable countries?

I just saw today that more countries have been made playable in historic world war, does anyone know a list of all of them and if any of them are good to play as? I tried Saudi Arabia and I kinda regret my decision.

I have game of 10 player where countries assigned were Austria, Greece, Canada and Poland. When I asked about it, I was told it was a bug. all the 4 players dropped and none of them were given extra resources at the start.,

I have only played 13 games (7 in tutorial and 6 in 39 Historical). In the 39 historical and my 3 favorite countries, of those I played, are: USA, Japan, Italy ...

By the way, what are some good underdog countries some of you have had success with ? By that I mean small countries not mid-tier ones like Brazil. I'm currently trying out South Africa and it's not too bad, but the ressources suck.

Portugal can be fun, if you befriend Spain. Switzerland and Afghanistan are also enjoyable. Generally any of the South American countries (7 are what I could consider "playable"). Egypt is a big one, I've had a blast playing as that in the past. Siam can be fun, but it's a huge challenge with your resources.

I'm trying out Switzeland and turning it into an alpine fortress next round I play.

Tried South Africa in 39 map not long ago ... Began with emphasis on economic and technology development ... Portuguese and Belgian colonies were my early victims of conquest ... But my main limiting issues seemed to be manpower and its remote location from the rich provinces in North Africa, Europe, Asia, Oceania, and the Americas ... Did not do that bad- finished second to a 100 level player ...

I just joined a new game as Portugal! But Spain’s going inactive so I’m gonna attack him, is that a good idea? I don’t think Spain has that many troops.

I might join another all countries all in as Switzerland, but I’m not sure where to start as swiss, who do you attack first?

If Spain has gone, or is going to go inactive, take his non city provinces first and if you can wait a day or 2 after he is inactive, the AI will have built up Spain's industry enuf that you won't completely destroy it when you conquer him/her. Kill all Spain's military that you can in the meantime though lol

I would ally with 1 or two of your neighbors, say Italy and Germany, and attack the third (France). I imagine Switzerland is a rather "safe" small country to pick (speaking in relative terms of course) as its not that attractive of a target
