I prefer Finland because it has a bonus because you have borders with only Soviet Union and Sweden. Sweden prefers moving south instead of going to Finland. Communist Russia will fight with Russian empire meanwhile I take both.
What country is the best to start as?
What countrie do you think is the bes to start as? I think germany is the best to start as because it has a wide reach and is close to easy to take resource points.

100% agree. The rear is guarded and Norway and Sweden can be taken out at once. The baltic can quickly be taken and thats pretty much game.Comrade genz wrote:

Ive won as both sweden and finland. I do think that Finland was slightly harder since I was invaded by communist russia while I was in sweden so that wasn't fun. It was a while ago though (classic) so idk about 1.5
Same for me. I have moved fully to world maps and events so I have practically no knowledge about europe in 1.5Fortune12345 wrote:

I'd like to say Sweden as it only borders 2 nations , Norway and Finland. if you are quick enough you may be able to attack Finland quickly and take it over while u can build a navy to block off the Baltic sea

I say Turkey because it has 3 foods and 2 oils and lots of AI bordering it.
I like Egypt the best. Just mobilize all your troops to take out Libya and then Algeria, and you have all the resources you need. You dont have to be in a 2 front war if you dont want to. For me its easy to become a superpower as long as your aggressive.
I think Sweden is best to start because of its ambiance and surrounding neighbor countries.
Yugoslavia (europe map) , Manchuko (pacific map and sometimes world map) , turkey (europe map), new england (i'm bias since i live here irl), venezuela (usa map)
these are countries i had good experience with
I like island nations like great Britain

Personally I like isolated nations as they aren't the target for everyone, assuming this is clash of nations they are: Sweden, Finland, Russian Empire, Southern US, Canada, Egypt and Turkey. Some countries can early rush others to win, other require more strategies. A strategy I like is to befriend someone and take all AIs and then betray them.
I like Afghanistan - nobody pays attention to you for a long time while you build your armies - then the Americans leave and you have billions of dollars of equipment.
General Heinz Guderian (Schneller Heinz)
Kenny says - You've got to know when to hold 'em, Know when to fold 'em, Know when to walk away And know when to run
i like south america for safe playing in europe map and turkey for agressive playing
To me, betrayal is always a really scumbag way to win, so I almost never do it unless someone does it against me. I prefer to fight fair and square. As for which nation is my favorite, it's actually Ukraine and has been for a while. They are an axis nation surrounded by Comintern, which are two doctrines that were definitely never meant to go head to head in the early game. There are a lot of options for expansion, and decent rural province resources. No good player nats to invade early on? Just get an AI like Crimea or the Cossak Republic. It's a really effective strategy that can demolish just about anything, at least for my playstyle. I almost always choose axis when I can.Hi3333333333 wrote:

I like to play with doctrines: Allies or Communists. This time i'm leading a game with UK. I get Belguim, Holland and Ireland fast as i could and then become get France IA. Yugoslavia its a good choice too.

Its a game chill, betrayal is fine. Also I don't like Ukraine because u might get attacked by poland, cccp russia, caucasus and romania if u take someone. U always need to watch ur back. It might be good for very experienced players but im not thatDonk2.0 wrote:

Everyone forgot that ukraine starts with a medium tank and it is in axis doctrine if you are a aggressive player you can start with Ukraine.

I love call of war
I personally like Morocco , South US n Finland as for Morocco u just need to take the whole africa n then either move into europe or middle east . For South US u just need to knock out the 2 nations in north america n then just aim to go for africa , france , uk n spain n for finland u can take out karelia , the baltics n sweden n norway at once so these r some good nations for eu clash of nations
You start with a medium tank because you were a new player. New players get a Medium Tank and extra resources in their first game.Rohitkabeths wrote:

Ukraine has borders with Romania, Poland, Communist Russia, Russian Empire and Caucasus. Not to mention Turkey that can easily invade. Also Ukraine does only have access to one AI which is Crimea. Cossack Republic usually gets divided by Caucasus and the Russian Empire. Ukraine's position is always precarious.
