Rocket fighters
Really ? How do you use them ?K.Rokossovski wrote:
Rocket fighters
Sure their range is very limited and they are not an "alternative" to an interceptor force, but they can serve as a "punch" to it. They are VERY easy to research (didn't realize that at first myself, but base rockets plus both levels is like 3d research, and that's it), and you can't beat them close to their base. When the enemy has patrolling fighters and you can reach them, you win easily. When you're patrolling bombers at close range, they are perfect escorts. Really, nothing bad about them... IF you have the rares to build them, and don't expect range from them.
artillery stacks early game to kill off afk player's troops, i used to just spam LTs
rockets
Mine would probably be tank destroyers. Tank destroyers were considered bad in 1.0
I never used rocket fighters before until now as their stats improved and they can get researched to level 2 now.
Yes they have a small range and yes they can't land on carriers but with the hight offensive stat's of interceptors, int vs int warfare has become pretty dangerous. Rocket fighters are much more effective in plane vs plane combat.
rockets are good i reckon. Good t3rror weapons and enough can cripple your enemy
Why are there no thumb downs? Don't you know that you are destrouing a place you should be conquering?GrandEmpire wrote:

K.Roki i get the downsides and all, but they arnt as bad as people say.
Rockets have saved me many times and tho i rarely mass produce they do have uses
Roko is probably going to grill me for this, but... strat bombers.
I don't use them a lot, but for the first time, I tried out using them, and they're pretty decent, especially for destroying enemy airstrips. Unlike rockets which are one-time use, strat bombers can be used multiple times, and their capabilities of destroying airstrips can help me gain air superiority more easily.
Wow, I'm getting a really bad reputation)))Little Racoon wrote:

No I won't grill you for that... I agree that they have some uses, but they are very niche, and that usually prevents me from gving them a place in my busy research schedule. But as I have said elsewhere, sometimes I have encountered an enemy sometimes who made good use of them, indeed especially against air strips. That is only a surprise thing though, once you know an enemy has them, it is pretty easy to prevent it by just starting an L2 air base, you'd need dozens of strats to keep up with the engineers building the air strip!
Cruisers
i actually started using them alot more because of my spite for battleships, but none the less cruisers are very good, they are ranged henceforth can bombard, they have a higher speed than battleships, and they have the best view range.
i found them extremely useful for mobile warfare and mass production, ideal qualities for a good raider unit, and are basically the only counter to the death stacks that are 10 naval bombers.....
i can, however find some drawbacks to cruisers, they are not capable of defeating a battleship, and can surely die without causing damage to battleships when the player is afk. also, they have the same range as normal artillery, so coastal bombardment can damage the cruisers if artillery is present, while battleships can continue bombarding because of their longer range.
overall, i will continue using cruisers in the early game and research into them, so the extra time that i would've spent on battleships will be saved. battleships can be produced later on when i need to spec my navy into coastal bombardment and Fleet battles. (though carriers can fix this problem)
I always build a lot of forward L1 bases to have alternatives to divert to if the enemy starts taking out an airbase. I also upgrade a couple forward airbases to L2 and the airbase from where I operate at day change so that spies can't bring down my planes with military sabotage. However I was recently in war with a coalition that had 16 rockets/flying bombs. Two rockets level 2 can take down a L2 airbase so they managed to take down all the airbases and ground my planes even though I had 3 L2 and 7 L1 airbases at the front. I managed to get my planes out in convoy while my allies were patrolling over them with ints to protect them. They made it back safely but it was close. However when those rockets were gone we simply rebuild our airbases and brought back our planes in the fight. Those rockets just bought them an extra day but they got conquered in the end.K.Rokossovski wrote:

This is a very good strategy. A cruiser is the best early game naval unit and the best all round, multi functional naval unit. You spam them early on and then upgrade them while you upgrade your naval bases and switch your production to battleships. However capital ships always need to be protected by destroyers and I'm talking in plural about more than one as that is ineffective.Karl von Krass wrote:

Armored cars lol
When you upgrade armored cars to level 4 they are too OP, fast, good damage against infantry and light armor, and good defense against heavy armor and planes
Please don't share false information AC are light armour, they get shredded by both tactical and attack bombers, they get also shredded by Medium or Heavy Tanks. They are a good start unit but nothing more. As soon as LT and mot infantry is available they lose their function. Mot Infantry is both faster, reveals armies, perfect scout and has better stats than AC

I'm pretty sure that your game has the same game mechanics as mineyahya_ wrote:
