Respectfully, as Axis Mot. Infantry is available on day 1, so a 1 on 1 comparison is not wrong if you are playing axis.K.Rokossovski wrote:
AC's are available immediatly; mot.inf takes a few days. By that time L2 AC's are available, so you should actually compare with them.Furthermore, AC's are light armor while mot.inf is infantry, so they take less damage against most units.
Having said that, I prefer mot.inf as well... it is just not as grim a comparison as those pics suggest.
What is the Unit That You Just Began to Use a lot Recently?

I would probably say armored car, it's fast, good for early game, and can destroy inf. Its also quite cheap, and decent against tanks as well, with the max-level armored car dealing almost as much damage as a med tank.

Me too. Armored Cars are Over powered.
Motorized infantry especially for Axis is too expensive. You don't have enough manpower nor food to produce them. You need food for all naval, ordnance and infantry units. As Axis units are more expensive you also need to build recruitment centres sooner in the game and those also cost a lot of food. It's way easier to produce a couple of armoured cars instead.BlackStormz wrote:

So would you recommend just using AC and no infantry when playing Axis then ?BMfox wrote:

If you just want cheap scouts or fast units to grab empty provinces then by all means only make AC.BlackStormz wrote:

If you want to make shock troops to attack players then you will have to stack motorized infantry and medium tanks together.
Anyhow I always recommend to attack AI only at day 2 and players only at day 4. This gives you the time to build up your economy. At that point at day 4 you can start producing motorized infantry. A 1440 food and 1320 manpower is too much in the early game, since the resources and manpower have been reduced in the latest patch.
No doctrine has a fix build order, you need to adapt your gameplay to the strengths of your economy. I'm playing Axis with Sweden now for example, which has no rural food provinces. My only food province is my capital. So it's hard to make motorized infantry early in the game.
