What's your favorite Clash nations?
My favorite countries in the Clash of Nations map are Sweden, Finland, Libya and Ukraine.

Don't play Clash of Nations much (exactly twice to be honest) but I have a certain amount of affection towards Morocco, which was the first nation I ever played as.

Try and get:
UK, Libya, Sweden (although Finland is better).
Good:
- Italy
- Spain
- Morocco
- Turkey
Avoid:
- France
- Communist Russia
- Caucasus
Although most of the time:
- The Russian Empire gets massive
- Either 2 American players team up, or 1 of them takes the continent and sits there for ages
- United Africa.
- France gets destroyed, because everyone jumps in on the fun whenever someone invades.

They take too long. Ukraine will be busy in the north and would have to cross a lot of land to reach you, giving enough time to use commie spam. Caucasus is commie and you can defend against them, Ukraine is a bigger worry for those dudes anyway. As for Egypt, they can be a problem if they deal with Africa, but usually you gained enough time (and they have to cross over the large provinces in Syria to reach you.) your economy is excellent for commie doctrine and you end up being able to turtle and move at your own pace.Komrade Khrushchev wrote:

Morocco by far. I like to tune up my opening moves playing Clash. I almost always play as Morocco. After that Ukraine and for something different N America or UK.Komrade Khrushchev wrote:

I want to try Finland or Sweden. Thanks for the tip. For me I prefer Morocco over Libya. Nice having the Atlantic and Med as borders.
