If you woke up and saw that your points have been doubled and your rank is crazy, then you probably would know why. Well because you would have seen the ridiculous amount of notifications first. (It was actually 151 originally!)
This leaves a question though, for the person who did this is named ComradeGenz. There is an older seemingly banned account with the same name that’s been around longer. At least every regular at the forums ranks have moved up though, I got a big W out of this since I don’t shut up, and now have surpassed Crayfish in points. A few others have exploded into the oranges, some even now generals of the army. Interesting addition I have to say.

Maybe this incident provides motive/opportunity to re-think forum ranking... I'm currently just a Corporal in the game ranking, but First Sergeant here in the Forum.
Perhaps "Likes" here in the Forum should not be permanent. Perhaps they could be a running total for the previous 30 days (or whatever amount of time); that way they would be self-correcting, to thwart what ComradeGenz did, and also to be more accurate regarding a forum member's current participation.
A similar methodology could be applied to posts; that is, keep a running total of recent activity only, rather than a total of all posts.
Perhaps forum rank should not exist. Perhaps simply link/copy the current game rank.
Forum Likes, Points, Posts could be displayed as horizontal, color-coded bars, that increase from left to right the more that a forum member stays currently active.
Using the game's current rank, and using Likes, Points, Posts that are always updated to reflect recent activity, would be a way for others understand and value the importance of what a forum member is saying.
I know these suggestions could irritate some forum members. But we can discuss the pros and cons here
Comrade genz was a forum user who spammed the forums and trolled different forum users for forum ranks and points, They particularly hated the users @Karl von Krass, @whowh, @RBoi200, @jefin b and @MiloK32. And was banned in the process
When I newly joined the forums, April 2021, an alternate account of ComradeGenz, @Mao-Tun Shanyu was active. At this same time, a new thing cslled 'like pacts' were formed by different members of the forum to increase rank. @Mao-Tun Shanyu targeted the like pacts of those above mentioned and dragged innocent forum members into this point drama. All this to make @Comrade genz the highest ranked. But soon they were revealed as ComradeGenz himself and then @Mao-Tun Shanyu left the forums.
Over the course of 2021 (and early 2022), many alts of ComradeGenz such as @Lipi Saha and @Mamata Didi trolled walls of different forum users in the Bengali language and also spam liked the forum.
This repeated and repeated and drastically reduced, but alas, They're back......
Anyways, this is just another case of video game drama and I advice you not to mingle into this and move on.
