South Africa. You start a bit weak but there are no strong nations to attack you, you can easily take the rest of Africa and if you are quick enough, attack Portugal or Arabian plate

ohno south africa is going to cry soon let me join?

One day there will be no more wars

South Africa is definitely one of the best underdogs, but I personally like the really tiny but with a ton of resource production. After some searching around the world, I found out that Tannu Tuva can be pretty good, if used correctly. The resource production of goods, metal, and food are all fantastic (i think default 9-10k daily), and although it borders the Soviet Union, the distance away from the Far East and the West, where the Soviet army is mainly located, is quite far, so it can grab some easy VPs off it if necessary. If not that risky, the Tannu Tuva player can go to Mongolia, a similarly weak nation, and then later down to China/Sichuan.

I can't say the best to play with but for true fun, I always choose one of the smallest countries around in an "All in" map. I mean, small countries are kinda the reason why the event is there in the first place, right?

For example a country with 3-4 provinces require tons of diplomacy, while you can also mess around without worrying too much about your loss. (For those who don't want to ruin their profile stats. ;P ) Bonus points if you are into tons of tricking.

They start with enough troops for small countries, if there are bunch of other small countries around it is quite easy to get them and "fix" your economy earlier too.

South Africa seems to have some favor with many in the all in map. What other countries are good in this map in other locations (e.g. Europe, Asia and the Americas)? ... ?(

In Europe, try Portugal (you can easily conquer Spain) or Denmark (you actually have a pretty large army and can conquer Scandinavia or try to attack Germany).

In Asia, try Tanna Tuva, Nepal, Aghastan, or Oman/Yemen.

In the America’s, try a small South American nation, such as Venezuela or Columbia. Also if you are going to choose centrala America try Panama (Attack columbia) or Guatemala (attack Mexico).

I think noone wants to wait for days to produce an army in game for example big countries has many land and naval units even reach to their beginning position with small countries have to wait for weeks maybe ıt doesnt seem fun destory small ones seem fun LoL

But the whole point of the event is SMALL COUNTRIES. Besides if you ever tried a small nation before you will see that they start with 6 units in the capitol and up to 2 units in other provinces. In fact, countries like Guatemala start with about as many troops as the continental US, and if small countries are good players, they can grow very big too.

yeah i agree They definitely need to bump up the resourfe production of small nations. I HATE THE PEACE PERiod without it I could expand and get more resources whats the point of the peaceperiod anyway

A few countries have HUGE resource bonuses, to make up for their small size. I think it is Yemen, El Salvador, and a couple others I can't remember. I would recommend those if you are looking for an underdog. But just remember, the big countries will try to attack you to get those resource bonuses.

Pretty much every small nation actually!

I think it’s fun to play as Japan. You get a huge navy with an impressive empire and good army.

I like japan. The only thing that’s bad though is, as you said, the large navy. It’s just sometimes annoying they consume so much of you resources and aren’t that useful honestly there’s nothing to attack with a large navy except USA which will probably Not happen.

I chose slovakia to try small nation and guess what I have 1500 manpower and other resources 5k what will I do with them I need years to grow with this situation

actually I would choose germany but game gave error and I couldnt choose it :(

You never choose the countries that are already offered in a normal 25p historical map, as that really defeats the purpose of joining an All-in map in the first place. Having small countries will always be more challenging and mostly more fun because of the challenges presented.

Chicken Then it's better to just play the 25p because the experience is similar.

Try South Africa, Egypt, or Afghanistan I’m pretty sure they have decent manpower as long as you build barracks
