After planes attack they must fly back to refuel. Using patrol instead is ideal; you don’t need to refuel then.

Why my planes go back my airbase
When I saw enemy planes I sent them my planes as patrol near of enemy planes in bloxd io
after they arrived I gave attack order and my planes is now going back my airbase
why ? I cannot understand.

the enemy planes may of been outside of your patrol corridor or 1 of your planes may of been out of range ?

That another thing! Patrolling planes technically have longer range thanks to the patrol circle (blue one)
