Day 2 just started. 100 player map. I’m Upper Volta. Nat China has 16 cities in less than 24 h. He has a 5:1 Kill Ratio and 193 wins in 209 games. He has 2nd economy.
First: To me this is a Gold/Booster Abuser. In game and historically.

He’s far away. And he has a huge amount of competition in Asia. Many active good players in the game all over except for Africa and Europe - giddy up! My only 2 allies are really great and really close. French Sudan and Mauritiana.
So all good. Again board please help: since I’ve only played 30 or so serious games I need some advice - Nat China’s stats scream buying wins. Agree or disagree?

Nat China is good. He may have alts, abuses gold and talks way too much in the paper, but He’s got 500 points, the Borneo/Philippines combo and he’s into SW Aus at day 7. His allies are looking particularly weak. My goal is to put pressure on B Odisha while Romania stomps on V Perm so that Nat China has to turn back and defend.
I’m third at 350. V Perm is 2nd but dropping fast.
You’ve got this. There is little that Nat China could do to really counter that but gold more. But you could always just counter…
I have a ton of planes on continent, including 5 lvl 2 NB’s and 15 lvl 3 Tacs with a few Strats (Good for recon and taking out air factories/strips. My two fleets will be taken from defense and sent 1 day travel time away to hurt B Odisha both on his coast and likely find and sink his navy, or at least one fleet. Anyway, like I said, a big map like this doesn’t really start until week 2.

Well, things looked pretty bleak at the close of day 7. Things started off great but this morning when I awoke, Volga Perm had at least 3 rail guns deep into Romanian territory. It takes 19 h to research and 14 h to build one so. But I digress. VP also spidered along with advancing big stacks progressing all of the way into Rom’s Core and even Finland.

My first 5 lvl 3 NB’s just arrived and are stomping on spiders. 15 more Tacs and 4 Strats are heading north and will join the first 5 shortly. Greece has 40 Tacs/fighters all lvl 1. And Romania is a good tactician that scoots and shoots as CarKing would say. Long story short AirPower won the day and Volga has fallen back.
Map early day 8. Ive got my 25 or so planes on a 10 stack with weak AA. I’m expecting 15 rocket fighters from Volga to show up any minute now lol.
Game Over. Volga has bought the game. Too bad. It was fun. Dude has 350+ units all types leveled up to max on day 9. I’m 4th largest army with 130 and various levels of weakness except for my planes and ships.
Anyway, his spend will help the Bytro Devs. I’m staying in the game to take his rent money, but I have no chance. Neither does the rest of the world. We’re all United and on Discord, but it’s a waste of time the way this game has devolved.
No more maps. Too bad. The battlefield tactics were fun
BTW are there gold cheats/hacks for COW? Just a thought.

These are just his Northeastern Europe forces. Yesc that big stack has 3 rail guns and all his planes are lvl 4. He’s got stacks like these all over attacking and many defending.
If only Jub Jub was in that map so he could play the same game with his own stockpile built up over the years lol

I think what I’m asking are there hacks for COW? Meaning getting free gold and/or boosters without spending cash. Like the “pot of gold” hack in Total War. This hack was official but there are unofficial hacks available for many games and Volga P might be using them. Given his buildup over 24 h he had this or spent $1000.

Clash 22 is the best place to practice. I like Morocco but there are many good countries to choose. The map is Euro focused so picking N American nations is safer for building but you’ll need to be patient to eventually invade Europe. Best early to find some good allies. Check the diplomacy tab and then click on any active player and you’ll get an info (i) icon on the top right. Clicking that gives you player lifetime stats on mobile. You’re looking not just for high rank but kill ratio and win percentage. Win percentage tells you if a player actually plays through to the end. A good ally can also teach you in game… if you listen… which is a great way to learn.Alexdoe wrote:

Pick several units to focus on and build/upgrade. Don’t collect lots of diff toys. Simplest is arty/meat shield. I like planes and ships because they’re fast and deadly but they are higher maintenance. All units have strengths and weaknesses against each other.
Build industry in your core cities. Best way to get more resources. I like recruiting stations too which gives more helmets. Be active on the market. Food/wheat usually sells best so you can use your profits to buy other goods.
Lots more but Clash is best map for noobs.
oh and don’t sleep. Game is slow but definitely real time.
In short, check in often. You can be attacked anytime.
