Hopefully we get a major war in this one so I can test some of that fallout…
CarKing the 6th of the Abrahamic Caliphate
Introduction :
I'll create some sort of documentation of my recent World at War round with my friends, this will take place around day 8 and so on. we're 5 and play south America, this time there's only 1 Coalition strong enough to oppose us in world conquest, so we need to take them out, here's the protagonist :
My Team : (if you notice, this is the exact same people I play with for 3 years straight, we play mostly WaW and sometimes event map such as doomsday, endgame, homefront, pacific, etc)

Enemy Team :

The world has been in constant war for the last decade, in South America, there was 4 Major States that able to survive and annex other weaker states, they were Peru, Maranhao, Sao Paulo and South Brazil.
they realize if they continue this meaningless war soon they will fall where they stand, therefore, in motivation of avoiding bloodshed they agree to from an Alliance to work together towards Glory, soon this alliance joined by Cuba who has already conquered half of North America...
one step towards world conquest.......

As in the one that we will do?
Yes.
Make a playthrough so we can enjoy as well.
Our play through
Surely
"Enemy vessels spotted crossing the red sea, copy" --Wingman
"That was Persians, they evacuate their troops from Egypt" -- Pilot
"Friendly airspace end in 9 minutes, we better turns back" -- Wingman
Egypt, Post-Invasion.
The Invasion is over but the war is not yet, Federation successfully driving back the Persians troops from Egypt, even though they unable to deal significant casualties. with the fall of Egypt now it's like domino effect, Enemy now began to gradually leave their position in Africa and head back to the Middle-east to avoid encirclement, resulting in relatively easy capture of the rest of Africa, enemy cohesion is lost and the Federation retake their momentum that lost prior to the Invasion, Enemy Fleet retreat from Mediterranean to block Suez canal from potential Federation Landing.
Now, the Federation can launch amphibious assault as they saw fit.

Caribbean then driving south to take abandoned Ethiopia and South Sudan. with the enemy still control the Red Sea, Invade Arabian Peninsula won't go as smooth as that.
but It's all set, Norther Forces, had began their starting line in Liberia, Finally arrive on the edge of the continent, Facing the Red sea, in which across, lay and enemy ready to deploy anything they had to prevent us from land.

Persia texting Maranhao, after that, he proceeds to offer a truce to us.
Adyra24 (Maranhao) : Guys, Persia offers a truce.
Peru (Tolol_aja) : Does it beneficial to us?

Translated from ID to EN :
Truce
Pros :
Caribbean : No need for truce, we're on advantage, don't throw them at the window
Sao Paulo : They must be up for something, Probably trying to attack us from Europe?
East Brazil : I agree with Caribbean, don't waste this opportunity after we conquer Africa
Sao Paulo : Remember, the next day I can't afford spies for all of us, this truce may can buy our time to savings up money
Peru : Let's do some voting then
Strategic Assessment :
1. Indochina, Burma, and Persia retreat from Africa, thanks to their superiority in sea they're able to evacuate their armies intact.
2. Enemy still held top position in terms of resource production.
3. UK still resist, progress halted in Bordeaux.
4. Persia offers ceasefire
5. Japan already arrive on Magadan, kamchatka, Ready to cross and attack Alaska
to all of my readers, or at least have been replied to this thread or I remembered, I ask you what is your decision? with the provided information above, what is your decision? (untagged reader feel free to answer)
@Carking the 6th @TheZhukov @Joe Bartolozzi @GeneralTanke @Kadeko @_Pyth0n_ @Talvisota
Question 1 : Persia offer truce, with the provided information above, how will you respond?
A. Accept and make some demand.
B. Reject
spoiler contain my team decision, so make your answer before open it up
Spoiler

Translated :
Persia Offers Truce
Option 1 : Accept, Japan must back off and give share map
Option 2 : Accept, They need to pay reparation and leave Africa
Option 3 : I don't give a crap, Keep going!!
Rejected lol, Well, it's not Christmas yet.
so, right now we know that my team reject the ceasefire, it means we need to make our way out to invade them right? they're overseas so it will be risky.
it's time for question 2, there are 2 Generals that, at the time, able to invade Persia. they were Adyra24 (Maranhao) and Yasir (Caribbean)

Yasir (Red) wanted to frontally assault enemy position in the middle east, he stated that the number of enemy isn't that much and therefore we can overwhelm them in multiple landing attack.
He's Comintern anyway, he can easily overwhelm literally everyone
Adyra (Green) wanted for entirely different approach, he prefer to avoid direct land in Arab and instead crossing friendly Mediterranean sea, to Greece, make his way around the Balkans, across the Caucasus mountains and attacking from above. he insisted that direct land on Arabian peninsula is risky, considering enemy had prepare for his arrival and set up defenses.
He has solid army formations anyway, just make sure he are on same island with the enemy and he will role them up.
this isn't Iberian basin landing we have on day 10, Enemy we face were far more better equipped.
Question 2, Which one you prefer?
A. Hot-headed straightforward Yasir's Plan
B. Cold-headed cautious Adyra's Plan
As for the question number one... I may need to ask how much spies did you have in each enemy's nation?
I remembered that using around only 10 spies can already reveal all of their units... (you're fighting 5 enemies, correct? Persia, Japan, Indochina, Burma, UK?)
So, that means the total cost of using intel spy (assuming that intelligence are able to show all armies position) is 2k per day, means 20k per day... On just one nation.
Multiplied by 5... That means 100k per day.
If we're going to choose for Mil sabo for more effectiveness... It would be 40k a day on a single nation, and 200k on 5 nations. It's way more expensive just to maintain it... But, if we pick truce, we can still afford spies, which means you still have a good amount of advantage considering you're able to regroup your armies, and resources.
Just the sound of Persia is asking for truce... He might be desperate.
Who knows, he might be cooking something with his ally.
All of these options sounds good, but somehow I'm more siding with the truce... Considering that even if they regroup, and produce their units... You are always watching them with your spies.
For question number two...
I myself are a more cold headed, by the first look of the map... I instantly think of from going to the balkans/europe due to the amount of navals, and preparation they've prepared in the sea...
But, is it also possible for you to team up with other players such as Poland, and Sweden? Or are they more on the enemies side?
With working together, there's at least a higher winning chance if possible.
I like to split enemies focus... Look at them, how they're very focused on the shore, but not in Europe? What if one of you did attack from the shore as the distraction, but not using many armies... And mostly defensive, while the others are pushing through Europe? Would that buy you more time, and even confused your enemies... I don't really like putting all eggs in the same basket, so I would usually invest/create other plans just in case if first plan didn't work.
I would reject the ceasefire in order to keep the momentum and take more land. I would go for the cautions approach because it could tie down more enemy troops.
I would also reject ceasefire, Adyra's plan sounds good, I will side with it, however I would rather get RoW with poland instead of attacking them, bcz attacking Poland will signal them that something is up. Yet, plan B(Green plan). It is better than Carribean's plan, carribean plan might just be suicide attack.
Of course I’d reject them, too big of a resource disadvantage. Perhaps instead of enacting one plan you can start with the cautious approach, and also hit them with the hot headed one at the same time once they are spread out. Collapse their lines and such.
I am honestly lost, studying for exams has depleted my brain cells...
Id take option 2 for both tho; take the truce and use the cautious plan first, then as car says, frontal assault.
Balkan Invasion. No Truce.
If possible launch a small frontal assualt at the same time as a diversion
thanks for your replies, guys. Question I ask was real decision making my team must make during the game, so I put it here to make this thread interactive.
we were spying 4 nations and use 8 each, so the total upkeep was around 128k.
that was very good analysis from each of you. Thank you very much.
stay tune for next chapter lol, I almost complete this.
You got this. Check the convo.
